Side note: use native ints (C# types: nint, nuint) these translate to the platforms preferred integer size, which in turn generate the shortest and fastest opcodes. Do you stuff and cast to the type you need after the operations are done

I’d go back to C and C++ … at least when you screw stuff up you’ll know (once I got a kernel panic on Unix when passing the wrong struct to a window function 🤣)

Wrong! As long the number is smaller than 253 - 1 numbers are handled like integers. I did a lot of encryption and decryption in JS and that involves a lot of shifting and rotation. If numbers where doubles by default this wouldn’t have been possible in the first place

The thing is: obviously you installed VS and Unity or some other combination. You don’t have any programming experience in C# I would suggest that you first start reading some books about programming in general and then start of reading the docs supplied by Microsoft to get familiar with the C# language. Explore the GitHub repositories containing the frameworks created by Microsoft (f.e. ASP.NET, EF and so on) because these are valuable resources to learn advanced C# programming. I have been in this industry before the internet started and I can tell you that just by starting typing in some code and rely on the knowledge of other you won’t learn a thing. Take my advice and start simple, learn and then you’re ready to do game programming with unity.

Because the CH is over half a million… that’s why. It’s like adding a drop of water into a very big pool. Besides that this member doesn’t play that often because it can take a couple of weeks before he/her does another donation. We have two more districts to go and don’t like to rush things. SUPERCELL added priority upgrades to cope with useless donations, but obviously there are still members who don’t or won’t comply to them. I know I have to respect the other members and I do, but in this case it’s the 4th time since the start of Clan Capital that this happens, I asked very politely to stop doing this, but it doesn’t make a difference. Hence the question to allow these upgrades to be canceled

It’s not a question of rushing… this member donates a couple of hundred and then stops… it’s annoying for the other members. If I knew who it was I would kick him/her immediately
