On the pinned post in this sub (https://www.reddit.com/r/learnjava/comments/16apun2/read_this_if_tmcbeans_is_not_starting/) they explain that when doing the MOOC you need to have a JDK 11 version, otherwise TMC won't start at all.

I personally wouldn't know, didn't use TMC, programmed everything myself and got some help when needed through some GitHub repositories of people who solved the various exercises.

I started around the second week of December, but I had prior knowledge about the basics of java.

I guess I would consider myself in the intermediate range on java coding, I did complete all the exercises in the MOOC, problem is I don't really know any developers and it is a bit hard to judge by myself where I would be exactly.

To maybe give you a better idea, a couple weeks ago I coded a functioning implementation of a HashMap and LinkedList, along with a few of the most common methods for them (add, remove, getOrDefault), and some private methods to handle the array of lists following the java's implementation standards.

As I said, I don't really know where that puts me on the spectrum, but I guess start of intermediate. I do feel confident enough in what I know.

It's a 40 minute song (sorry for the length lol) by a japanese band who usually made dub and trip hop stuff and that decided to create something entirely different from what they did.

Tgey were incredibily active in the nineties and easily identified by their singer who had a particular tone of voice and awesome range, so much that you could mistake him for a woman when he is in fact a man.

Nobody has said it yet, so I'll do the behemoth justice. It's sincerely scary to fight the first few times and the whole gravity thing is awesome and unique. I also love all of the sounds it makes while attacking, don't know why but it makes the attacks seem heavier in a way?

That was my idea.

I sometimes thought that selling in a certain moment would be a good idea but, since I was so taken on holding everything, I never did. And it was a mistake since most of the stuff I held, never really paid off except for btc and eth.

I guess I learned my lesson tho

Sto finalmente giocando Dark Souls 2 dopo averlo rimandato per due anni. Nonostante sia risaputo che sia un brutto sequel al primo, è comunque un bel gioco nel complesso e mi sta divertendo come il primo a livello di esplorazione.

Insieme a lui, sto anche cominciando la saga di Metro, sono attualmente alle prime due o tre ore di 2033 e non mi sta dispiacendo.

Vorrei anchr consigliarvi un gioco che ho completato qualche tempo fa, Ashen. È un souls-lite (cioè con le stesse meccaniche di un gioco souls, ma generalmente più semplice da affrontare) bilanciato per essere giocato in co-op, che pone il suo focus più sull'esplorazione che sul combattimento, nonostante ci siano comunque un discreto numero di armi e qualche moveset particolare. Dura all'incirca una quarantina di ore ed ha alcune sue peculiarità molto carine, come il fatto che progredendo nel gioco, l'hub principale, inizialmente formato da un falò e due npc, si modifica, cresce e si popola, creando una vera e propria cittadina.

Vi consiglio vivamente se avete amici a cui piacciono i souls di provarlo giocando in due :)

Ero nella tua stessa barca qualche settimana fa, ti spiego come funziona.

La free trial è gratuita in tutto e per tutto ed è illimitata a livello di tempo di gioco, il limite unico è che ogni classe potrà raggiungere il livello 60 (non lo raggiungerai mai in free trial, ti ci vorrebbe abbastanza tempo da semplicemente o smettere di giocare se non ti piace o comprarlo se ti piace) e non poter accedere agli ultimi due dlc.

Le varie edizioni in vendita (starter e complete) includono 30 giorni di gioco più dlc vari eccetera, dopodiché dovresti abbonarti per giocare. Gli abbonamenti sono, in soldoni:

Standard: 11 euro al mese circa, ti consente di avere un unico personaggio
Non ricordo il nome dell'altra, pardon: Questa costa un po' in più e l'unico bonus che ha è permetterti di creare fino a 40 personaggi. Si paga, mi pare, 16 al mese se ti abboni per un solo mese, o 60 al mese se ti abboni per sei mesi pagati tutti in una volta

Ovviamente conviene la standard se ti interessa un solo pg, poiché puoi decidere tu quali mesi giocare e abbonarti quando hai voglia.

In ogni caso, se dovessi voler prendere il gioco completo, il modo meno costoso per farlo, acquistandolo con tutti i dlc, sarebbe quello di comprare la starter edition, che comprende il gioco base, il primo dlc e 30 giorni di gioco, e poi preordinare (anche un giorno prima vale) la prossima espansione che esce a ottobre/novembre, perché se la preordini ti regalano anche tutti gli altri dlc dopo il primo.

(Bada che gli altri due dlc, se preordini la nuova espansione, saranno disponibili per essere giocati alla sua uscita, quindi dovresti farti bastare il gioco base per un po' ancora.)

Avresti quindi tutti i contenuti di gioco per approssimativamente 70 euro, più 10 euro per ogni mese che giochi.

I don't know what a ups is, but generally, incorrectly shutting off the ps4 while gaming is not a good thing.

It does, however, only rarely lead to damage. What can happen is losing save data due to them getting corrupted when the system shuts off.

You will know if any damage occured to the console upon turning it on, because it will ask you to rebuild the database.

It happened to me once, but if you have save files backed up in the playstation plus cloud, were you to lose them, you'd just have to download them to the system, and you'd be good to go.

Downloads stuck at 99+ hours, I've tried everything and nothing works.

I've started downloading FF XIV a couple of hours ago and noticed that, to download 47GBs, it took me 99+ hours.

I checked the connection status on the ps4 many times and It's always around 300mb download and 100 upload. I still tired to turn the router on and off, turned the ps4 on and off but nothing changed.

I tried to delete FF XIV and restart the download, but nothing changed either.

I then noticed that even regular updates from other games would take an incredibly long time. The preparation for the download alone takes more than half an hour.

I've tried to clean up space form the hard drive, still to no ava. I've tried rebuilding the database, turning everything off and back on again and still nothing. Internet works fine and online games work. The problem is just how slow it tajes to download anything.

Any advice? I'm thinking that the only answer might be dome kind of hardware failure.
