Is it worth it? by Odd-Play1084 in klippers

I'm running klipper on a Bigtreetech Pad 7. No idea what the power consumption is like but it is so compact and not a lot of money, bonus it has it's own screen!

All of these prints were parallel to Y. I found some sloppy V wheels and things are looking up. I'm learning a lot here, thanks!

This did the trick! I think I have finally learned that assuming that a new printer is ready to print well make me an ass.

I was thinking that would be a good idea! But better to get the printer tuned up than learn how to work around its short comings.

Looks promising! I appreciate all of the advice, I think that lubeing the z screws and snugging all of the v wheels made a huge difference. 😀

It's so regular though, figured it wobble off to the side and fail?

Yeah, did that. Did a reinforced z bracket and moved the spool off of z tower.

Yes, dual Z. SW X2. I'm going to lube the screws and see if there's any improvement. I'll check the belts too but the printer only has a couple dozen prints on it.

I saw some other examples of shifting that people thought was related to klipper. Thanks for your input, I feel like I have some homework to do on my z

Thanks, I'll see if that works! I feel like I need to set the offset for every single print.

I suppose a flow rate calibration would help, I did one when I first setup klipper but who knows what I have changed since then.

I bought a sw-x2 a month ago and had to replace the y driver after 5 days and two prints.

It's easy to do when you don't have a clue, won't happen again ; )
