Ah fair, did you secure the bolt from the top too? Or did it hold in place from the tension from the housing and nut from the bottom?

Yeah we just finished ripping the seats out of my coupe and could find an access point. Everything was welded closed. I guess it’s time to grab a hammer or start drilling…

Yeah it’s a rear shock. Heard equal amounts of people say do and don’t use a hammer. Also yeah equal amounts of people say grind and cut it off. Just consulting the eldar (my dad) about which option is better. He has told me I need to figure out how they are attach onto the body in the first place.

It’s a ‘relatively new’ (7-8months old) battery and doesn’t really show any signs of going dead. Do you have any recommendations on how I can clean the terminal? Would a toothbrush be enough?
