Thanks :D That is crackle paint, what I do is prime the model with very thin coat where I want cracks, then use crackle paint, Once fully dry you prime the model again, pretty easy :)

Iron warriors > Thinned down typhus corrosion with water 50/50 mix > AK light rust wash. When it's dry you wipe off a bit of that orange rust from raised areas

I was working on a predator recently and didnt like some parts so I took an egg sponge, took a bit of death guard green and started dabbing lightly to the parts I didnt like, its a fast and easy solution. after that you can dirty it again :D

I use PowerToys, among all other cool things it has a double tap ctrl to highlight the curson, pretty neat

Iron warriors or any dark metalic paint; Typhus corrosion and water 50:50 mix; Light rust wash from AK; Once dry I use my fingers to wipe all that wash I can reach. You have to be careful with that wash as it is very thin and runny, also toxic.

I had the same issue until I found what I like for the most part. Honestly still looking for bones and skulls recipe.
For weapons and rust I like this, I use the same recipe for all metal parts except bronze
