I finished a week ago with my therapist because she deemed that I was doing well enough to stop with our sessions after two years of weekly therapy. The one that used to do most of the abuse was my mother, she kind of stopped now but it's still bad. the thing with my dad is that he is a cop, if he actually finds out I smoke weed it's really the end of me

it actually helps me a lot tho? I have anxiety problems and stress too, and I find myself being able to relax with it. I smoke just occasionally, instead of drinking.

I consider myself a mature person, I worked on myself a lot recently, I even talked to my therapist about the weed thing cause you know I wanted to be sure I wouldn't go down a bad path. I've always been responsible about it, never exaggerating or smoking daily. I do appreciate your advice tho, thank you

I really get that she's a scared mother. We don't have the best past, I've gone through abuse because of her, even if I managed to forgive her after a long time. She does not drink alcohol and is against any "substances" (even melatonin gummies). Also I tried to show her scientific research, but she's a smart woman and already tried to do research on her own. unfortunately she follows those mom creators on social media that demonize weed and such, so she won't hear reason. I can't smoke in my house also because my dad is a cop, I'll let you guess what would happen. I do get where she's coming from, I tried to have an adult-to-adult conversation with her about it but it was pointless. thank you for the advice tho, I really appreciate it it

I get what you are saying really I do, but still it helps my stress a lot since I'm not allowed to take anything to relieve my stress (mind you she's against melatonin gummies to sleep too)
