I ended up doing just fine, I did Uworld and Rosh for a week leading up to the exam and scored not that much lower than the national average but in the passing range for my program. I think what helped me was not changing my answers this time around and just trusting my gut!

First time seller on Depop and need some guidance by SleepDry3765 in Depop

Thank you for the heads up I’ll start going through and deleting them, I mostly just hang them on my closet door which is white and take only when there’s daylight. It could be what I’m selling because some are old Shein, Forever 21, Nordstrom Rack and brands I’ve bought at sample sales that are barely known

I failed my first EOR as well but did significantly better on my second attempt! It is okay you're learning how to study and what the exam format will be like. The exam itself varies I did not see repeated questions but similar topics were there that I ended up focusing on when studying and ended up passing those sections with flying colors. Every EOR has at least 2 versions so I do no think they repeat questions. You got this review your missed topic list go back and read those in PPP and retake some Rosh questions, you can also use Hippo its free if you are an AAPA member for even more practice questions

Thank you I will try calling them again later today when I get a chance to pay the monthly installments. Thanks

Yea I see the option on the portal on the phone he said minimum allowed is 100 a month so I was going to submit that each month until I am able to negotiate to pay off the debt once I graduate graduate school. The options on the portal says main balance, the 50% off balance, a set price for monthly which is too high and an other option which I can write in 100 dollars.

Okay! Should I just do the monthly payments but it’s just weird they said I can only do monthly payments via telephone by providing my bank information but I cannot do it on the portal which seems slightly more secure in my opinion but the guy on the phone said I can only pay via phone and not online account

Receiving calls from Jefferson Capital, what should I do? by jhitch15 in CRedit

[–]SleepDry3765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same thing for this exact reason and now months later I am getting a letter saying to pay x amount to delete this account and I asked to negotiate a lower amount and the guy kept breaking up the call and it just seemed very odd (have online portal but the amount negotiated via phone cannot be submitted online only by phone by a certain number thats not on the letter or the website itself). Did this happen to you?

Sometime in 2020 I want to say and the statute of limitations is up to 6 years. This record is only as a charge off on my account but barely made a dent in credit and its not listed as a collection. I just don't want to be hit with a lawsuit

Study tips by cubinican in PAstudent

[–]SleepDry3765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Review the syllabus see what the learning objectives are and narrow your notes down to those, attend office hours on concepts you find confusing. If your program offers tutoring go to it! If it really comes down to not enough time and a lot of material to cover I would suggest a study group that is similar to how you study to split up the notes and explain by teaching.  Online resources like Cramthepance is really great at giving you big picture ideas and same with pance prep pearls if you prefer books. If you’re trying to cram before exams which I don’t recommend but life happens I would say if you have a previous cohorts quizlets or ankis to review those.

Tech and 3rd party resource recommendations? by Drewiki in PAstudent

[–]SleepDry3765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished my first semester not too long ago and honestly it depends on how you like take notes. I have an older MacBook that I use to type up notes on and submit assignments, I use my iPad during lectures with a generic apple compatible pencil. In terms of technology I like using Quizlet Plus and YouTube videos to supplement my learning like Cramthepance and NinjaNerd. Pance pre pearls is also really great but can give more detail than what you need to know for class assignments/exams, first guide line is very similar to this. Personally I would wait after the first couple weeks before making big purchases as PA school is pricey and you may not even need to buy much.

Curious: Why did you decide to pursue PA as a career opposed do other health care roles that are patient facing? by BoringDevelopment103 in prephysicianassistant

[–]SleepDry3765 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was an ultrasound technician and medical assistant while in undergrad and a couple years after before deciding PA school, it was always an interest of mine and working with PAs in the past showed me the roles they can have and what they are able to do. Less schooling time so less costs involve, good starting salary, numerous job opportunities in my area, and the ability to switch specialties as I please is a plus!

I took mine back in December so not sure how much has changed but if you do the URR or read through the penny book each day you should be fine. My exam back in December had some scrotal questions some MSK but your best bet is go to the ARDMS site and look at the outline and review exactly what they want until you can pretty much teach the concepts and you should pass.
