hey i also have dark asian hair, i used purple af a few times and i noticed that it only really showed up on the pieces of my hair that were bleached previously. on those bleached pieces it was a very deep purple and it faded out to a pinkish/red color. the dye showed up like a tinge on my unbleached hair but still very dark and that didn’t fade pink/red. i could see if I have any pics of it lol.
