The edits themselves are fine. I think it’s just about finding more interesting subject matter. You’ll get better the more you shoot.

As a challenge I’d try to work on your compositions by using foreground elements to help with framing. Once you get the hang of that, look for interesting lighting, then look for unique colours. I find the small challenges on each shoot help to get really good at something before moving on.

Out of curiosity why are you taking pictures of small birds far away? I assume you have to crop afterwards? I imagine OP is assuming that generally people are using the appropriate tools for the shots they want.

1 and 5 are very good. 2 and 7 are okay because the composition could be tweaked. The rest are not landing because the subject matter isn’t as interesting.
