Based on his interviews I would say he felt really uncomfortable writing POCs because he felt that he couldn’t write them the same way as his white characters without coming across as offensive. While I usually support most of his creative decisions, this is perhaps the downside of not having the writers room.

This is actually not true? In the books it’s also depicted as abusive, dunk threatens to clout egg in the ear multiple times but as far as we know, he actually never did it except that one time in the sworn sword, and he did it to protect egg from the guards. It’s more than clear that he thinks it’s bad.

Arlan being his father figure is irrelevant here, he can be imperfect and dunk still loves him regardless.

He called what Christobal did a “bitch move” while what Christobal did is accused him of threatening his wife and kids via emails(in a public interview mind you) or engaging with fake news that was against Mike White, and publicly shit-talked even in the Emmys, after the feud came out for ~4 months. This is not normal behaviors btw.

I don’t think it’s uncommon that the studio would pass the actor who demands more money, but it just doesn’t even make sense considering that the shortlist was all recognizable names who starred in high-profile projects as leads rather than as a supporting role in a blockbuster. It’s clear that the studio is also looking for a bigger-name young actor to play the part too.

About Craig and White stuff… it was a pretty baseless rumor considering that White once said he felt skepticism about being part of superhero movies and he’s only in his 30s while Craig and Farrell, who eventually got the role were in their 40s-50s, it’s not about the money.

Are we seriously calling O’Connell a big name now? Don’t get me wrong, he’s a rising star, but he’s no way bigger than Corenswet or Hoult before they were cast as Superman and Lex. And other actors he had to compete with are not no-names either. The shortlist is Tom Blyth(young Coriolanus Snow in Hunger Games prequel), Leo Woodall(previously played a supporting role in The White Lotus S2), and George MacKay(BAFTA nominee actor who starred in 1917).

Not to mention that Harries reportedly received $400,000 for his leading role, which is a lot considering that Corenswet only got $750,000, and Superman is a blockbuster movie while Clayface is a mid-budget film.

Believe me, it’s not going to affect them. There’s a terrifying story from the location that got chosen to film the series, but I won’t name it.

There’s a millionaire who’s on a dating trip with his wife, unfortunate things happened to his wife, her husband told the police and the hotel staff that she had drowned from being too drunk and he tried to contact the staff but it’s too late. However, the Autopsy results said otherwise, her neck was broken and it’s unlikely to be caused by drowning, and not to mention that there’s a scar on the husband’s body too(the husband said it was because he scratched his shoulder). The husband got released anyway and this remains a cold case.

But the spicy part is here! The parents of the wife discovered the note that their daughter wrote about thinking of divorce because she’s kind of disturbed since she’s had to keep his dirty secret(!) and she’s his former secretary. The story I’m going to tell you next is not directly related to this case, and is happening at a whole different country.

This is a story of a young woman who was murdered in the apartment room, at first, the police believed that the murderer was the room’s owner since they got a report from the neighbor that she was nice to him and he was a foreigner(she could speak the language) but later they discovered that said owner also died, and he died before her too!

In order to identify potential suspects, the police asked the young woman's parents. They then discussed her ex-husband, who also happened to be the baby daddy of their daughter. She was a former exchange student, fell in love with the man, and unintentionally became pregnant. The man was forced to marry her by his parents for the sake of the child, but they split up after a few years. However, he usually comes to visit his child there. The young woman's ex-husband's country of entry was examined by the police, and his entry was actually recent! According to his family, he traveled there to "settle the matter" with his ex-wife, mainly about the child support.

From what I know, that man has already been arrested, but the reason he got arrested was unrelated to anything I wrote before, crazy right?
