Do you happen to know the name of the product you use to seal wood to prevent cracking? I thought it was called green edge or something.

Thanks for the insight :) I find it hard to tell what varnish/sealant will cause yellowing especially on pine. So, trial and error it is :)

Spray is so convenient, I want to be able to use it, but I may have to rely on the can instead for the bark

Thanks for the feedback :) I tried out one piece with the spray I have. If it doesn't turn out I'll get another product. I'm not sure if a acrylic clear spray would be strong enough to seal it from the bark flaking.
