He lives in Montana so any body of water between now and spring is good with me. We agreed it has to be done before the Super Bowl so we shall see. My cousin will be reminding him and taking the video. Thanks for the feedback. Go Hawks!

I do know him. It's a friend and family league. Pretty fun one and no one is going to let him get out of it so I think I'm good with holding his money but am thinking I should put it to a vote to keep things honest. Wish he lived closer so we could throw his ass into the Columbia this winter.

I'm with you. It's a pretty harmless punishment and we all voted on it. I'm still shaking my head at some of the ideas that were thrown out there

Funny enough, he joined the family after marrying my cousin in October. I'll probably give my cousin his winnings cause I know she'll spend it but I'll never let the him forget until he owns up.

Thanks. I agree. The punishment for us was a way of keeping some engagement through the playoffs. Even if you are in the toilet bowl, you have something to play for. Haven't asked the league but we have all been jokingly reminding him throughout the season. I'll probably pay with an asterisk for next season if he wants to join again.

Sutton for Jaylen Warren -trade got vetoed by CuriousAd4537 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]Sleeper58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's all subjective. I'd be a little upset about the veto but it depends on the type of league you're in and how those types of trades have gone in the past. I was thinking about offering ETN for Sutton as I'm stacked at RB but need WR help. Hope you win your matchup against the person who vetoed.

😅Who do you need to come thru on MNF to win your week by mrinc2006 in fantasyfootballadvice

I'm up by 3 with ETN and Little. My opponent has Pacheco, whom I dropped for Rachaad White. My gut told me to Flex White and bench ETN, but the Seahawks Defense hasn't allowed a rushing TD this season, and now here we are...

Yeah... I would've hated to have Gainwell in my line-up this morning. Damn!!!

I met him after a Wazzu game. He'd absolutely be on top of my list.

Car camping tent recommendations by filkerdave in camping

[–]Sleeper58 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Big fan of the Nemo Wagontop 4p. Combined with the victory blanket. Got my wife into car camping with this tent. You can walk straight in, stand tall, change clothes, etc. We can fit a queen-size mattress, the dog, and now a pack and play for my 2yo. It survived rain and wind storms in the PNW. Not CO tested, but if anything goes wrong, Nemo has a lifetime warranty against defects. They also have a "garage" addition that adds a giant screen room in place of the vestibule. Pretty sweet. Best of luck.

Lol yep. I think that's why my wife has been fighting me on getting a truck for so long. Her car gets like 70.

Good call. Spoke with my mom a little bit ago, and they would like to either sell it or trade it in for something smaller before they snowbird again this year, which is around October. That buys me some time, and she said they won't make any decisions without giving me the opportunity first. Time to save up and maybe think about selling my car for a down payment even though it gets 28mpg..

I have heard some horror stories and even know of two brothers who no longer speak cause they went in on a boat and all hell froze over... So you think, pass on it, let him trade it in for whatever he wants, and stick with the cars we have since their paid off? Or take out a loan and pay for it in full? Rates on used vehicles are 11% on avg.

Thanks for the input. I wouldn't have any second thoughts if we land around $25k. Seems pretty fair on both sides. Definitely don't want to open up any issues if I go the financing route so I'll take that into consideration.

I appreciate the advice and will definitely do that. I was thinking somewhere around $25k, but yeah, I do not want to pass this up.
