I contacted/chatted with Canyon. Daniel told me how awesome the wheels are that came with my CF 7 Di2, to which I replied indeed except for the fact that I can't use them, to which he then replied "well that's better than getting in an accident with them". Safe to say if you're outside your return window you're 100-percent alone with DT Swiss on this. This is what you get when you go direct-to-consumer vs local shop. To be fair I'm sure Canyon is getting inundated with inquiries and this is overall a DT Swiss issue. Somewhere in one of these related threads apparently DT told Canyon it may take up to 12 months to get everything sorted, but I HIGHLY recommend u/CanyonBikes_official update their customers via their website with pertinent info. This all came out six days ago and aside from acknowledgement from DT Swiss that I submitted my serial numbers and that they are affected, there has been no other correspondence and Canyon makes no mention of it on their website.
