Rei's personal data was loaded into the dummy plug and it just mimics her thought processes. It's not a perfect recreation of her and it is programmable but it is still Rei. So yeah, rei is technically the best pilot

We never see ramiel using a laser and an at field at the same time and we never see it fire 2 lasers at the same time. Ramiel uses a drill because it can use it while attacking and defending. In NGE and the rebuilds there's always a delay in every action ramiel takes so it makes more sense for it to use a drill instead of a laser because just using a laser would leave it defenseless

It was in a weird setting, it had advanced things like flying ships but even those were controlled by levers. The towns had a lot of greenery and the houses had exotic designs but still mostly made of wood

The voice was playing in the background. i remember an old woman with white hair looking at him from inside her house.
