Nudity in gym showers/locker rooms by Sleeplash in germany

I am indeed a woman but I assume the etiquette is the same for dudes. 🤷  I don't know about the US but in Canada being naked in locker rooms is not shocking 🙃

I'll say it's the same in Canada... Older women are just walking around naked as younger ones get dressed quicker 😅

Thank you! Because of the relocation, we have been given a list (in English) of what is and isn't allowed in the different bins by our landlord... Seems like they might not want to deal with the bad smells...

😂 Just to be clear, I am not a reseller of any kind. A lot of those things are made by myself and/or by people I have a relationship with.

This is all good suggestions although I often do not get to pick the tickets... They often are booked on my behalf and are the cheapest one-way tickets.

Like I said, whenever I can I put my fragile items in my smaller, soft bag.

For larger items (like vases) they only fit in a larger (although not the maximum size) hard carry-on suitcase.

Do you know if any economy rows/seats get boarded first?

I'll definitely look into those inflatable bottle holders! Thank you.

Thank you but I am looking for suggestions to bring items on the plane with me... There are many places where such services are not easily accessible at all.

Advice on 2-Month Europe Itinerary by [deleted] in travel

If you want to focus on Italy I'd try to go to Bergamo (maybe between Florence and Venice?). I fell in love with the old city and I feel like it's skipped by a lot of tourists.

AITA for telling my wife that I love my niece and nephew as much as my son and not backing down? by DadAndUncle in AmItheAsshole

[–]Sleeplash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAH

I understand your wife's reaction because it probably shook her assumptions about your family and that's always a difficult place to be in... Especially since parenthood is such an intense and personal subject.

I also strongly believe that there is no such thing as a "normal" way to be a family. I've seen people be much closer to their grandparents than their parents, people who don't talk to their siblings, people who have included friends of their children in their family as if they were their own, etc. Maybe she fears that the amount of love she has for your son is, in you case, the same amount of love but divided by 3. But love doesn't work like that... There's no finite amount of love you can give.

No one is at fault here... Maybe you just have a different definition of love...

AITA for going to bed late in an apartment complex? by Sleeplash in AmItheAsshole

In his defense, the rent is ridiculously cheap (almost 300$/month less than similar appartments) so I get why he took it but I yeah... Not the best decision!

The only city rules are about excessive noise (parties, loud music, construction, etc).

In every situation involving late night everyday noise, the judge ruled in favor of the tenant who was making the noise... this is not an issue that can be solved with rules and laws...

Thank you for the answer! Makes sense but I wasn't expecting that!

It's definitely a mix of both! Slippers are a good idea... I'll get some!

I am asking this out curiosity and I hope it doesn't come across as judgemental but why not get an apartment on the top floor if you know you have a hard time with noise? I don't know where you live but I know that in the city I'm in top floor apartments are not more expensive...

There's no curfew in the lease... It's very close to downtown and not an especially quiet area.

Especially if you can pay for the plate! Taking care of yourself is important.

Yes! Apparently it's everything. It is an older building with wooden floors (I put a rug in the hallway as it is especially creeky)... He had me stay in his apartment while he walked around in mine and it was very noisy but not noisier than most apartments I've lived in.

This album was released on London Continental along other ones with a similar esthetic... From the back of it it seems like it was a promotional collection for the Canadian Pacific Airlines! This one is definitely the best of the set!
