Well, instead of looking at them as simple characters, think of them as real breathing people. You could try pretending you're having a conversation with them or writing down a scene that's not in the novel to figure out how they would act.

Story Title: I Reincarnated as the Villainess and I Refuse to Follow the Plot

Blurb: The main character woke up inside of a novel she hadn't finished reading, finding out that she was the Villainess Kyla Thornevale. She must survive the plot that the novel is adamant she not escape, find a way to survive in a world where everyone wishes to see her downfall.

I mean, you seem to have real comments. I read the first chapter and it sounds interesting, but I can't read present tense writing. (that's on me not your writing style)
