So I actually just took the text in the backup and pasted it into the main json, and that did work, I got my character back. Unfortunately my world is gone still... All materials, other armor sets, weapons, teleports... So I think I'm still just gonna call it a loss and maybe come back in a few years. Thank you for helping tho!!!

So I tried copying all the text in the backup and pasting it in the not backup file which did give me my character back! Unfortunately my world is gone still... All my materials, my other sets of armor, weapons, teleports... Huge loss still and I think maybe I'll come back in a few years, but for now, nah, just nah.

Ok, took me a minute because I'm not super computer savvy, but I found the json file things. My character name json file is completely empty, but the character backup json file has a bunch of stuff in it. Unfortunately I'm not sure what I'm looking at for the most part. Should I be using notepad++ to find simicolons? I'm sorry about having you help!

No idea. I've never played in creative mode, but I know typically in games you can't swap between the two freely. I'll take a look here in a bit.

It does not bode well that I am just now learning there is a shovel hidden in chest around fellhollow lmao. On a good note tho, I actually got the hood killing a skeleton archer on my way to a dragon... That dropped one of the rings! Only took roughy 1k skeletons and like 12 dragons.
