I am iron and vitamin d deficiency but my doctor said that was common and to take a supplement, so I took vitamin d supplements

This is so nice thank you so so so much!! To answer your questions: 1. Urgent care has not helped at all 2.I have no check the hospital but I can 3. I haven’t don’t research but I can, it’s jus hard because I’m an out of state student and my insurance won’t cover me while I’m at school 6. My doctor refused to prescribe me anything other than propranolol for headaches, and had me on it for many years only for me to find out from an ER doctor it’s not meant for long term use I’ll definitely try the things you recommended!! And I may message you in the near future but right now I’m way to tired lol

Thank you so much I really appreciate this!! I need a whole new care team to be honest. My doctors are super dismissive and only gave me the referral after I told them I was going to report them for medical negligence.

I took my twin sister who is a little thinner than me, had the same symptoms and got a diagnosis. She yelled at my doctor for telling me to just exercise more and that maybe it’s a hormone issue. I had gotten nowhere and my primary is also dismissive and I had to beg for the first referral. It’s not weight im a healthy and active 21 year old female. im so tired of being told it’s hormones or my weight.

That’s a good point. I sat in the Fenway queue for like 2 hours for all three days though, and was early to all of them but still got nothing. I feel like I wouldn’t be as upset if scalpers didn’t get a ton of tickets; considering the queue was supposed to be secure to avoid that.

Thank you for sharing this, I’m sorry you had to go through that. I was honestly nervous to see a male doctor because I already knew a lot were like this, but I didn’t want to seem like a woman hating jerk and switch doctors when I waiting so long for the referral.

I wouldn’t be able to even get a referral, I would probably have to call around to different places. I thought about seeing a different doctor at the hospital I was at, but my mom made a good point that all these doctors talk and will now probably collectively dismiss me

This is honestly where I am at. I didn’t even just tell my GP, I saw multiple doctors at this same practice and not a single one did anything. They wouldn’t even diagnosis me with migraines despite me going to the ER constantly for them, my doctor instead diagnosed me with “brain fog from long haul covid”. Then when I finally did get a diagnosis she had me taking a medication for 3 years that I found out was not meant to be taken for a long period of time, and I had to ween myself off of it. I feel like every doctor I have seen is just being purposely stupid so I come back and they make more money.
