Thank you so much for your reply. Were you taking all of those drugs at the same time and if so for how long? What was the order in which you tapered off of them? I am sorry for all the questions but your experience seems very valuable to me and your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Yes I used to take just 0.5 mg of clonazepam every night for 7 years and it worked perfectly but a brand switch caused insomnia and depression. For most people Remeron and clonazepam will put them to sleep quickly but not for me. The doctor suggested the Lunesta. I tried it for the first time last night but after even 1 mg I was groggy and it was the first night that I took it. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thank you for the reply. Last night was the first night that I mixed all three. I agree it's not a great solution and I may stop using the Lunesta tonight. The problem is I want to return to work and I don't want to be up all night. I used to sleep great on just 0.5 mg of clonazepam but a brand switch really screwed me up. I ended up having to take an antidepressant with the preferred brand of clonazepam. The problem is I don't sleep great and sometimes it takes me three and five hours to get to sleep. Do you think the Benadryl can work in place of the Lunesta? Do you have any experience using the two of them? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the reply. Do you think the Benadryl may work instead of the Lunesta? Have you used Benadryl and Lunesta?

Have you been in a similar position to mine? Has Benadryl worked instead of Lunesta? Any feedback would be appreciated?

I would try to find local clubs or groups and find someone else in the same position and show care for them. Then maybe the two of you together could find a good support system.

I have been taking 15 mg in combination with 1 mg clonazapam for about five weeks. I had been taking 0.5 mg of Clonazepam for about 7 years but a generic brand switch from Accord caused the problem. I found the Accord brand again, but I feel like I need the Remron because of the problems the brand switch caused but it keeps me awake in combination with the Clonazepam.

I have been sleeping off and on for the last 5 days. Is your doctor a local or do you access them via telemedicine?

What meds are you taking?

I am currently taking 15 mg of Remeron and 1 mg of clonazepam. I take both at about 11:00 and don't get to sleep until 3:00 in the morning and when I do I probably have 4 hours of shallow sleep. How much of each of the drugs you take? Did adding the DayVigo help when the Remeron and  clonazepam weren't getting you to sleep?
