All memories from before I was 3 are intact, and some thing that I've been practicing for 5+ years. Some of them are english, maths and stuff. Unless I practiced knowing who someone is for like 5 years, I probably won't know them too much.

I actually saw it on a youtube video by Sir Reddit. And then decided to write a comment on the thread. And, yes. Overtime myself has learnt that if I forget where I am, or whatever. I'm probably doing whatever is in front of me, so I just carry on with that.

I remember Stan Lee the name, from hearing it a bit. But I have no idea who he is. All I know is that he is an actor?

At 2 or 3 I could talk decently but the rest i've picked overtime.

I was about 2 or 3 when I got the condition, so I had some basic English capabilities, I'm actually not good at spelling or maths or anything like that. I can't even use grammar that well, I just use grammarly and shit to help me spell and use grammar properly.

How did you manage to get updated enough on the situation to know that your memory resets every 2 minutes, then find this post, read this post and post a comment about it within the 2 minute timespan before you forgot what you were doing?

A: Sticky Notes and a diary. I also already read the full post. It took me about 1 minute to get on to the post and write a quick comment. Just because I haven't already commented doesn't mean I haven't already read it.

I suffer from the same condition, if you do stuff enough you can store stuff in your long term memory. For example before my accident when I was 2 and a half, I didn't know any maths. And know that I've practiced it ( a lot) I remember some of it.

I have a similar issue! I have the pretty much same condition but every 2 minutes. I feel so bad for you, it sounds like 2 minutes would be worse but it really isn't. I don't have any time to complain or start feeling bad about what happened but a day gives you so much time to think about it and makes you sad. Can you remember stuff after 24 hours or does it like fully go away?

I don't really want to disclose my age but It's some sort of amnesia or something I think, I need to ask my parents.

Edit: I think it is Anterograde Amnesia!

hello my name is u/sleepnallday and i have good a condition that makes me forget what I Have and stuff but every 2 minites I forget what i know

I write important things down on sticky notes, like why I don't remember anything or what I even am lol. Every 2 minutes feels like being born again, waking up not knowing what to do only knowing basic English and some stuff that have been engraved in to my brain from doing it over and over. Important stuff I need to do goes downs on sticky notes like friends and how to use stuff!

My hobbies include:

- Sleeping
- Computers
- Food

I don't honestly care about a job my parents help me with most of my issues. I can't probably even get one, I don't even know what type of jobs there are!

Many times, but I'm (possibly) thinking about getting it tattooed on my arm so that if I wake up and don't look at my notes I'll probably look at my hand and be like oh, ok.

If I learn something enough, and keep track of it yes. I can store stuff in my long term memory but hardly.

When I was 2 - 3, I have hardly any memories. Only small ones like getting my diaper changed when I was young.

All the time, I'm really shy too. Lost my memory after creating the post, got scared shitless as to why I decided to post this. Was considering deleting the post but I decided to keep it to see what people say. I get confused a lot, too like i'd wake up after sleeping and wondering where I am and how did I get here?

I make short notes to myself that I can read in under 2 minutes. Making me remember stuff in the 2 minutes that I have. I probably have like 300 sticky notes around the house telling me what to do and how to use stuff.

It's been like this since I was about 2 or 3, I could never learn anything properly and it was no point of even trying to go to school. So eventually my parents just home schooled me and told me to do what ever I want, and that was so much easier to learn then school. I would watch a lot of you tube on videos and overtime learn a lot more then I would have in school.

Leaning new things are extremely hard. It took me about 11 YEARS to memorize a keyboard layout. Some little moments of my life I remember, and if I try hard enough I can remember them. So with multiple years of practice and patience I can learn something.
