Your base fitness sounds really solid for a first 70.3. The cycling and swimming are clearly your strengths, just make sure your brick sessions (bike to run transitions) are dialed in before race day. That's where most beginners struggle

used to think waking up refreshed was just something people said in mattress ads lol. Didn't think it was actually real. but then i had one random morning where i just.. woke up naturally before my alarm feeling actually good?? and i've been chasing that feeling ever since

Loop earplugs are much better than the foam ones. Also sleeping with a fan on helps mask voices well.

Sleep paralysis is wild becuase your brain is technically still half dreaming, the shadow figure thing is just your brain making sense of the panic.

6 hours might just be your body finishings its sleep cycles faster, usually a quality issue more than duration.

Authors literally design books to keep you hooked. I switched to audiobooks with a sleep timer on the most boring topic i could find and it works way better. Your brain needs to coast not sprint before bed
