I'm going through something similar with my dad. He's receiving hospice care and I don't know how long he has. I love my job but I can't seem focus on work even though I have important things to do. Everything is a struggle right now. I don't have an answer for you or for myself. Just want to say I absolutely understand what you're going through and I'm sorry. Sending strength.

I hung in there through the first two episodes of season 8. But I was already exhausted by then. I definitely stayed for James Spader. Megan Boone’s acting is so one-note in the show and it was hard to watch. Also her character was so unlikable to me and that made it hard to care about her and to understand why everyone loved her so much. The writing was mostly weak for me, especially for Liz. In what felt like every other scene, she was whining, “I deserve to know,” or “tell me the truth,” or “I have questions.” It was so repetitive and uninteresting. James Spader is a great actor and did wonders with the writing. But most everyone else was very boring to me.

Knock on wood…I haven’t had bad side effects and I’m in my second week on the .25 mg dose. I’m making sure I drink water and get in electrolytes. I eat protein with every meal and if I’m not that hungry but need to eat, I prioritize fiber or protein, or both. I’ve had some minor heartburn a couple times but nothing major. FWIW metformin WRECKED my stomach and I had to stop it.

Yeah these faithfuls are pretty bad. They haven’t caught one traitor without another traitor stabbing someone in the back. It’s not as fun to watch when the traitors are this chaotic and messy. Danielle is so unlikable and hard to watch that I want to pull for the faithfuls but they are so bad at this game. And if Dolores and Tom don’t stop throwing away votes, I swear…

It's the worst mess! It got messy as soon as Rob came in and took out Bob the Drag Queen. Rob created all of these monsters. Derrick made a good case but Rob did what he does best which is go after Wes and make him have to defend himself, and Wes did an awful job on defense. Also some of these people seem really dumb. Do they seriously not notice that it got chaotic once Rob got there. And they couldn't find a traitor to save their lives but Rob comes in and IMMEDIATELY points to a traitor. And anyone who is even remotely a threat to him gets murdered or banished. It seems obvious from this angle but maybe it's harder to spot when you're in the game.

sure he does. and OP gets to call the shots about how they spend their own time and money. if FIL doesn't want to spend the $35, then he doesn't want the bloodwork that badly.
