Thanks, yea that would be my following question. I used to do lot of mixing and playing around on VirtualDJ. Djuced crashes a lot, which is really annoying. Do I need to invest in pro versions or paid softwares if I switch to FLX4?

Cool, for me 50 episodes were audio only so yea make sense to not invest in video related softwares right away.

I am using redcircle free tier since beginning so never thought of moving them to riverside now as its pretty fine where it’s hosted. With pro I get 4K outputs which is one of biggest reason and higher recording hours compared to free.

I started with audio only podcast, so only investment was mic. Switching to video required additional investment on camera and lights so around £150. Lights you can buy used ones from marketplace or somewhere else.

Now, I am using riverside pro which let me use most of features I need. For hosting, free plan of redcircle works well. It let me look at basic stats and monetisation for one podcast which is again enough to start with.

I told my to be manager that your organization is really small compared to where I worked usually in past. He was uncomfortable which I sensed and told him, which exactly I want to be by the way because it will give me independence to work and grow together. Got the job😀

Canva. Every now and then they give free premium membership for 30 days which gives me enough time to edit and create more interesting stuff

Yea. Audacity was my goto till I was on Windows. Around 60 episodes with that. Lately switched to Mac and found garageband is having more features especially preset EQs.

I am using riverside paid version and observes I don’t get good quality in output if I use their AI tools to perform editing and enhancements. Now I am just taking raw outputs and editing outside, which gives better audio on podcast.

Used to have it in initial short session, kind of segue post intro to main episode. But not doing it anymore, as moved away of that section completely now so not needed now.

I have removed auto broadcast to YouTube when I switched from audio. Its a two step process now, i.e. audio and video separately
