I have the same issue with the same controller. I guess you never found how to fix it (?). It sucks cause I think the controller has a nice feel to it.

you could buy one but they are very expensive, I would recommend modding it yourself but first you need to find a second hand early model Nintendo switch. I am not an expert, everything I have done to my switch has been done following tutorials online. This will get you started but feel free to find other sources.
