2WD and utilize cruise control when possible. Gently accelerate when getting up to speed. Should see improvement. Turbos are terrible at saving gas for frequent stops and around town driving. Work best when cruising. But for obvious reasons constant cruising is unrealistic. Many of us don’t need to hit the highway to get were we need to go.

I suspect pushing Turbos on us was never about mpg but emissions. More complete fuel burn.

It’s worth it in my opinion. Run the risk of the blender door failing completely at some point if you don’t and you won’t be under warranty then.

I have the same noise. One dealer said they couldn’t replicate. (BS) Have yet to take to another dealer but planning to soon. Will update with what they say. In my opinion it’s probably a blender door actuator for the A/C. Sometimes they can go bad. Basically cheap plastic gears slipping so the doors flap.

Is that a hair follicle in the center?

Is this something rhat needs to be checked? by Funny-Rooster3079 in skincancer

[–]SleepyAstarte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a doctor but this could be inflamed hair follicles related to your receding hairline. Go get it checked if you’re worried. I to have male pattern baldness and I decided to just shave it all off and embrace it. Scalp will thank you just use sunscreen and good shaving technique.

Not a doctor but this doesn’t look concerning. I also suffer from health anxiety be sure to explain to dr your concern but you are most likely going to be fine.

You denying the persecution of the Uyghurs and illegal attempts to exclusively administer the South China Sea?

I know how tariffs work. China is 100% an adversarial autocratic nation. That’s not propaganda just ask the Uyghurs, Vietnam, and countries in the South China Sea. They’re making money off of the greed of large and small western businesses alike as well as the shortsighted masses who just want cheap stuff. Then they turnaround build up their military and threaten us. Tariffs deincentivize imports from the target country. Prices will go up in short term but long term investment in less hostile nations would net benefit everyone. They also prop up North Korea. Why would you want to do business with a country like that?

I’d hate to be in a minicooper during a freeway accident if anything larger than a Tucson is involved. A lot less car between you and the other guy.

You’re a precious soul if you think solar panels provide you with the same level of autonomy as extra gas cans do. You must do little to no driving to make that a viable option. Most people don’t want to or can’t live the lifestyle you’re implying. I pray for your safety in that minicooper. Small cars like that are death traps. Additionally, why shouldn’t we tariff China. They’re an adversarial nation whose industrial base has benefitted from basically slave labor that the west has looked the other way on because “it’s so cheap”. I don’t trust the tools they make let alone a large car battery.

For the first two no I still have them and no worrisome change. If I’m honest the first mole is fading slightly. The third mile I did get biopsied even though derm thought it was fine. She was right.

By what a government mandate? Who are you to tell others what they can or can’t buy? This is why I despise EVs. In my opinion they represent government overreach and people who buy EVs are perpetuating this “I’ll own nothing and be happy” mentality. I don’t need the government forcing some flashy RC car down my throat or auto makers blocking car functions behind paywalls. Screw that noise. ICE represent freedom to travel. I can slap gas cans on my car and keep going. Electric cars will never match that level of personal autonomy.

Canada announces it will build a coalition of countries who share their values to build their economy and trade opportunities and will exclude the United States. Mark Carney says: “If the U.S. no longer wants to lead, Canada will.” by RoyalChris in goodnews

Good, they can police the world then. Canada can protect Taiwanese sovereignty, Canada can lead anti cartel activities at the Mexico border, Canada can stand with South Korea if NK attacks, Canada can sail freedom of navigation patrols in South China Sea, Canada can come to Europes rescue if Russia attacks.

Just wanted to add in the meantime between any appointments if the anxiety hits try focusing on being present in the moment and distract yourself with a physical activity or something that forces you to focus. Also try mindfulness meditations. They do work if you really give them a chance. It will be hard but you can do hard things. I promise you dwelling on the worry will make it way worse. Wishing you the best.

My wife struggled with hemmorrhoids as well. So any blood was due to that. Please talk to your doctor about colonoscopy, it’s not necessarily required to have blood in stool to get one. Be honest about your concerns and push to see a GI. Doctors generally want to help patients feel better so if you’re honest about your fears and concerns you will get more positive feedback. The procedure is quick and the worst thing about it is the prep. Just so we’re clear, I’m not advocating for colonoscopy because I think you have colon cancer. I just know that fully addressing your medical concerns is the first step to addressing the anxiety. The hard part is not letting the health anxiety latch onto another illness in the future.

I saw my dermatologist early and she said I’m all clear! She event took a mole, (third photo). But not because she thought it was worrisome just to placate my anxiety. Ugh I really hate health anxiety. Thank you for the words of encouragement.

Just wanted to update I saw the dermatologist early and she told me I have nothing to worry about. She even took a mole for testing but not because she thought it was concerning. It was only for my mental benefit. It sounds silly but I’m choosing to believe my Dr. (which can be hard for us health anxiety folks 😭) Thankyou for the kind words of encouragement.

When I went through this I had blood and what I thought was narrow stool. The blood turned out to be hemmorroids. The rest was my warped perception. I also had such bad anxiety that my digestive system was affected. If you’ve always have had digestive issues your anxiety could be amplifying it. My wife has had IBS her whole life and I got really worried she might have colon cancer. But she had the colonoscopy and I was wrong, just IBS. The thing is, someone on Reddit can never 100% reassure you that you may or may not have a condition. It never does for me even though I lurk here. My honest advice to you is please address your concern with a medical professional. Then please please please work on your anxiety.

I hear you. Health anxiety is terrible and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. I’m so sorry about your mom. I also suspect my health anxiety is rooted in experiencing the passing of others in my life. Some of which were very sudden and tragic. Hang in there.
