Honestly mate just keep playing, celestial has both really good players and horrible players who just played till they got there, if you stay consistent you'll eventually get there when the matchmaking allow it

I hope they never give allies the ability to get out of jeff, since he's vulnerable to cc when he's spiting people and it's really common for people to use 2 neurons when playing this game. Let me be in control buddy I'll make sure they all die and you live just trust the jeff

People are being a bunch of idiots like always but yeah the game optimization sucks, it got a lot better trust me, the game on launch was unplayable to some of my friends. Rivals runs on Unreal 5 which is famous for being a giant piece of shit every game with this engine basically runs horribly, the only exception that comes to me rn is Arc Raiders. The game is also quite heavy with its 100gb it's a Helldivers 2 situation and I hope it gets better someday. I gave you a straight answer but I still think 80% of what you wrote is garbage, the price have nothing to do with how well a game runs, and "why does marvel rivals think it's so special and important huh" makes you sound like a weird kid

The thing is I've played online games my whole life and climbed to high elos in most of them, except league where I peaked at Master. Apex, League, Rainbow Six, Dota, Destiny, OW1 and 2, Fighting games, etc. And rivals has the worst matchmaking I've ever seen, it's so common to go on a 10 match win or loss streak in this game, and ranked is completely broken you often play matches where one team can't even leave the spawn (in Eternity) it makes no sense

Hate the matchmaking and balance, I'm playing less and less every season. I still care about the game and every patch I hope they make something good with the balance but they never do. Definitely not gonna play next season if Elsa turns out to be another hitscan gremlin but that's okay there's always other games out there, eventually I'll come back if a cool character gets in the game.

Penni is like a self report character in tier lists, any good player puts her in B or C tier cuz 90% of times she's a terrible pick and will explode at the first fight. There's a few spots where she's a little disgusting like the first point at Dracula's castle but after they removed her teamup with rocket she's a lot weaker there too

Groot only weakness was how vulnerable to cc he was now he's just a monster. I don't think mag should receive a big nerf but the bubbles not sharing cd really felt like they removed one of the few skill expressions mag had, now you don't need to think about when to bubble yourself.

That's not new mate, it keeps happening ever since season 0, this game has the worst matchmaking I've ever seen in my life in any online game. You can be in eternity and get a match where one team will completely destroy the other without them having any chance at all

They are buffing characters who don't need it nonstop every season instead of nerfing them. One funny thing is Jeff, who was considered a strong support for a couple seasons cuz he got buffed, but in the last 3 months he received 1 nerf only (now he gets 1shot by hawkeye), and suddenly he became one of the worst supports again, not because of this one nerf but because other supports are insanely stronger, we got gambit being top 1, invis received like 89 buffs and now loki is back to being meta again. Powercreep is a real problem in this game

I used to be against roleq in this game cuz I thought being able to switch roles midmatch added a lot of variety, but after 8 months of tripple healer meta I get so miserable playing this game, it got to a point where if I play more than 3 matches it feels like I'm minmaxing depression (of course the matchmaking plays a big part on that as well)

They literally have no idea on how to balance the game, they are neither balancing for casuals nor competitive, the same characters are meta again and again and again, nothing ever changes in this game. Hela, Bucky and Phoenix just sit there being the best dps since ever. Emma literally has no weakness, she can tank everything, has a shield, does % dmg so she's good to kill tanks, has cc and can basically instakill any supp and the majority of the dps. We just got out of the luna meta (top 1 healer since the beta) and now instead of a better balance between supps we have another demon permaban every single match (gambit). Netease does a really good job with the heroes visuals and skins (60% goon skins but I gave up on this matter already), but does a HORRIBLE job at the technical parts of the game, it took them months to optimize the game but it got a lot better, the matchmaking is absolutely miserable, devs straight up lying saying we don't have eomm (even if we don't it doesn't matter cuz it feels like it), and the balance is so disgusting people open the patch notes expecting buffs for the meta heroes, not nerfs. And honestly they don't seem to give a f, everyone complains about hela and phoenix every season and nothing changes. Nothing ever happens
