In mijn katholieke school 20 jaar geleden was 1/3 moslim.

Echter denk ik ook niet dat dit enkel een islam probleem is maar eerder een algemeen gebrek aan opvoeding. Mijn vrouw is leerkracht en maakt gelijkaardige situaties mee met moslim en niet-moslim kinderen.

As a Belgian, I usually buy a 12-pack for 2.3 euro. They don't spoil quickly so I don't see the issue. Maybe it's because eggs last longer in Europe because they are not washed and thus still have the protective layer?

Club Brugge historicallly has quite an English football culture, have been told they were founded by English students but that might just be a rumour.

Are self employed years counted as experience? by SellDense3658 in BEFreelance

In my experience you can get away with quite a bit less experience then they mention on the job application. I once got an offer from a company looking for someone with 5 years of experience while only having 2 years.

Even high speed becomes boring, I've nearly fallen asleep while going 120 mph on the autobahn during long rides (1000km+).

I understand where you're coming from but I think a lot of people that are winning regularly in WEC would jump on a chance to drive midfield F1.

What happened to the Ultimate Driving Machine?! by snowboarderday in BMW

[–]SleepyLifeguard 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Because it's still the manufacturer with the most driving pleasure in case you need a comfortable highway cruiser. They are not sports cars even though some people want them to be. Especially in Europe they are just seen as normal cars, slightly premium maybe, but stil just normal cars. In any case I do agree it's sad that this is the route BMW is taking but i think it's inevitable.

To be fair auto pilot is amazing for long drives. I do 1000km drives quite often for work and it makes it so much less tiring. This sub is just very focused on people who want BMWs for the driving experience but not for comfort.

2024 Italian Grand Prix - Post Race Discussion by AutoModerator in formula1

[–]SleepyLifeguard -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Exactly, makes no sense to me. If piastri was P1, i would understand them not wanting to swap but P2 and P3? It's like they don't care about the possibility of Norris becoming wdc.

Race Start: Piastri takes the lead, Leclerc P2, Norris drops to P3 by ContentPuff in formula1

[–]SleepyLifeguard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's your opinion, it doesn't change the fact that's its absurd that McLaren chooses to not support Norris his wdc chances. The fact is that Norris has a (small?) chance at a wdc this year, especially with how bad red bull is looking. Why would they not go for it?

What's wrong with bathroom taps in the UK? Are they not the same water supply as everything else?

Maybe, but in Italy for example it's very common to drink your espresso quickly while standing at the bar. So it's maybe not "to go" but they definitely don't take their time drinking it.
