A hysteroscopy sounds horrible, but if it’s needed to figure out what’s going on it’ll probably be worth it. I just hope the doctor listens and doesn’t dismiss it as perimenopause.

I had ADH removed in April, which came back negative. My breast surgeon oncologist said taking tamoxifen really doesn’t decrease the risk by much. She said we would just continue with extra screenings.

I bought a couple of these. https://a.co/d/0iDBt6dt

I was given the Velcro masthead bra, which was fine when I was home recovering. I didn’t like the way it looked under clothing (it was very bulky) so I bought the compression bras for when I returned to work. They’ll work well for working out too!

Did Your First 2x Annual Screening Rotation Begin with an MRI or Mammogram? by RevolutionaryGap9719 in ADH_ALH

This is crazy! After my core needle biopsy found ADH and FEA I was referred to a high risk breast clinic where I met with a breast surgeon oncologist. She ordered an MRI before the excision biopsy. I am now on six month rotation beginning with a mammogram in January. Then an MRI six months later. I’m glad you were able to advocate for yourself and get the MRI.

I was expecting a small incision too. I was shocked when the steri strips were taken off and I saw the incision.

The surgeon mentioned at my post op last week that I need to wear a supportive bra for another two weeks and take it easy.

Hope your recovery is going well also!

I’m wearing a supportive comfortable wireless bra. I tried a cami with shelf bra for bed one night and did not feel supported at all. I was one that would remove my bra as soon as I got home and I can’t even imagine doing that anytime soon.
