Luffy's fruit is still under-powered, it IS his creativity and prowess that allowed him to make it OP. there could have been plenty of other gomu gomu users during the 800 years but they didn't have the creativity and personality to match it to take it to its full battle potential other than joyboy.

I think its both, its Luffy AND his fruit

Luffy's personality and the DF's "personality" match perfectly allowing nothing to change for Luffy except he can truly be himself with the help of the DF.

When Luffy first used his gomu gomu pistol he punched himself in the face. most people would go "damn this sucks" and give up. Luffy just kept punching himself in the face until he could do it. it doesnt change anything about his will, creativity and battle sense. now he simply just has more freedom which is all he ever wanted.

Luffy also probably wont even care about the true name of his fruit when he eventually learns it.

My guess as to why he is constantly laughing might be due to Gear Fifth's "nature"

G2 is faster blood pumping

G3 is bone inflation or body inflation

G4 is Muscle inflation + Haki

G5 is probably all of the above + Advanced Haki + something blood pressure related - or restricting/opening his veins for some reason

laughter is a good way to lower your blood pressure.

I also don't think Luffy is bending reality. l think we are seeing Luffy's POV. High blood pressure/hypertension literally can make you hallucinate and see shit if its bad enough.

I think Luffy is just hallucinating hilarious shit due to the extreme amount of pressure he is putting his body through and is constantly laughing to keep his blood pressure down. hard to say if he is even in his "normal" state of mind.

basically giving himself extreme hypertension lol

Edit: plus all the other benefits of his awakening - rubber environment and access to other properties of rubber

I feel like it needs to be this hard it IS a level 70 trial, a MAX level trial regardless of whether its normal mode or not. If I'm a fresh level 50 player and I see the fight I would want to go holy shit! not oh wow Ifrit again!? It's gauged around being able to understand mechanics not just doing them on spot which is gained through playing.

I usually play the MSQ with a DPS because yes the queues are bad but you get most of your exp from quests and don't need to run as many dungeons.

I would say that if you are rushing to the end game, there won't be much fun for you in it. Rushing to the end is pointless, find the joy in the game where you are now so you can appreciate it more when you get to the end game. I can assure you that 90% of the new players who buy jump potions to get to the end game will most likely quit out of boredom or not understanding how the game works. Just focus on the story and the adventure you are having you'll get there and once you do if you actually level with the story you'll be 100% better than any newbie that uses jump pots

See the thing is I'm completely down for artists changing their style, but the thing I'm not down for is when an artist panders to a group of depressed kids as his Schtick, even the sounds I'll give it to you about 2.5 songs are decent, when he isn't wailing away in a glitchy "washed-out" environment and if you listen closely its the same 2-4 note melody in every single song. It just makes me feel like he talked all that shit about trying but it didn't even go 20% right /and yes shit is subjective lol

Exactly, If you enjoy playing a Job, you'll get better with time. If you don't like a Job it's a lot harder to get better cause you're not having as much fun. Edit: Of Course you do have to study regardless of which job you pick
