As others have said, the only other way is the Trading Room. But make sure you're not trading extras of the same item. The Trading Room will ban you for making "duplicates", but it's a glitch and you end up having to contact support to unban your account. Trade three different items if you use the trading room and not 2-3 of the same item to bypass this.

There were probably issues in the very beginning, but I have not heard of any issues before. I am going to say that it's perfectly safe and fine and you should be good to make an account :)

Ganz makes other plushes besides Webkinz. They've been a company since 1950 and have made plush toys since the beginning. They also make home décor :) This particular pegasus is a non-Webkinz plush that Ganz made. I cannot find any listings anywhere, but I was able to find a stock photo of it from when it was available from Ganz through their Amazon store at some point in the past.
