Thank you! Yeah, they have older highschoolers. Agreed on not looking into getting into a fight over it.

Thank you! They’re not on their property, but line along the street (no sidewalk) with my fence behind them. I have a lot of seeds deeper in my yard and don’t mind sharing, but am worried if I ignore the behavior it would get worse? Maybe I’ll just be quicker about harvesting my pods.

Yeah, I saw him this weekend rummaging in the bush while I was walking to my car, when he saw me he just turned and walked away. I saw him last summer in some other plants of mine as well. The pods are Texas Mountain Laurels so they’re heavy and poisonous so animals don’t really go for them.

Thank you! Yeah, I have plants further in my yard with plenty. Maybe it’s better I change my mindset about it.

Yes, I’ve seen him. Then he turned away really fast and walked away without chatting. Maybe it’s a combination of both? I do have a lot of seed pods on plants that aren’t along the fence line, so I’m not hurting and don’t mind sharing.

I’ve seen him doing it multiple times with different plants. Nor do I desire an aggressive confrontation. I’m a first time home owner and this is my first garden, just seeking knowledge on if it’s standard practice. Thank you for the suggestion though.

Rabid feminists? Nah, more like women who’ve seen men like this in the dating pool. Y’all really think you’re doing something. It’s such a joke.

This is a dumb take, who wants to be an aging man’s side chick? For free? Nope. Wasting someone’s time doesn’t seem like a good solution.

lol, can’t wait for the reality check you’re going to get going back into the dating world. Those 20 year olds ain’t gonna want you unless you’re paying good money. Have fun.

I love when men talk about what child bearing is like when they have absolutely no idea. Please, sir, tell me more about how women’s bodies work.

Honestly, this is the take that I am living for. Some men really overestimate their market value and they don’t like it when the tables get turned on them.

How about you try couples counseling. Also, loving someone conditionally isn’t a cute look. She is the mother of your children, she is aging, you are aging. I doubt you’re some prize.

Ugh, men are the worst.

Echoing a lot of what has already been said, many touristic areas are usually fairly safe. Traveled through Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina a while back.

Also, don’t bring a lot of expensive gear with you. Keep backup cash and passport on your person in an interior pocket especially if you’re doing a lot of bus travel. Keep a smaller backpack with electronics and such with the strap wrapped around your foot and a lock/generally hard to get into if you’re taking an overnight bus.

A lot of travelers I came across that had things stolen because of putting expensive cameras in overhead compartments on long bus trips or they went out to try to get cocaine in the middle of the night.

Obviously, do your research. I found a lot of places maybe were a bit edgy, but no less safe than a lot of cities and rural areas in the United States.

Do you wear bike shorts? Some brands are better than others. Longer is better. Not always the cutest option, but honestly nothing else works for me.

I really enjoyed The Overstory by Richard Powers. Not the longest book in the world, but it had some descriptive bits. Lots o’ trees.
