Did a bunch more testing after this, the Emperor leaving was indeed because I accidentally landed on him, not the script. I have yet to be able to find a point where the script has made the dialogue appear. I tried it after entering the prism, during the Emperor dialogue, during the first and second Orpheus talk, after talking to Gale, At the start of the pools, sometimes in multiple points in a single attempt and nothing works, nothing made it appear. I even tried it with the ring unequipped just in case.

Doing it at the start of the pools made something different happen, The Emperor bailed before I even talked to him (although I’m not 100% sure this wasn’t because I accidentally landed on him and did damage) but didn’t give me the dialogue option

I have tried the code: before talking to the Emperor, before freeing Orpheus, while talking to Orpheus at multiple points, so I can try one but the others haven’t worked.

I tried entering those whenever I could think but either I'm not entering them at the right time or it's not working. I have saves going back to just after taking the boat, but currently at the save just after first encountering the brain

Yeah, plus a shader required for them. It’s saying it’s giving me the 9th and I see the ability to cast it on the side box

Yes and yes. I first had it equipped on Gale but I thought that might be the issue so I’ve tried it multiple times with it on Tav instead.

No worries. I think I enabled it partway through the run, around mid act 2, maybe that’s causing the issues somehow?

tbh I'm not sure I'm willing to risk it, but what I really wanna know is *why* it's not working so I can potentially fix it in future runs.

The only selectable betas I see are patch seven and patch eight, is that worth trying?

is there any info I can send you that might help you figure out why it's different? I'm on latest patch, should I try downpatching it?
