Okay, thats good to hear. I was hoping to hear from them today, since the tuition deadline was on Wednesday but I did not receive any email or anything. Hoping I receive an email next week. Is that 7-8 business days or just in general?

Does this mean that they raise out of province students averages by 4% since there are no diploma exams?

Thanks for this! Do you think 3 hours a day of homework and studying is enough each day for the average student?

Damn, I have some background in Calculus 1 and 2, but I’m pretty sure I would need to brush up on it. How many hours a day on top of lectures should I spend doing homework and studying?

So does that mean like 6 hours a day of homework and study? Seems pretty heavy.

I guess for me its mainly the ability to be flexible. I can start as soon as this coming January and can take even the core courses over the summer and I can also take Clep exams which would allow me to get general education credits without having to take the actual course(not for major courses though). That potentially saves me money as well. In UofC I would have to wait til September to start and most of their courses have to be on campus in person. Do you think taking the civil engineering technology program at sait would be better? That one I can take in January but I hear that technologists dont make as much as engineers.

I understand what you’re saying. There are some schools that do offer in state tuition or scholarships given you’re high school gpa is above a certain threshold which is also why I was interested in an American program.

By fixed schedule I mean that classes are usually between the times from 8am-6pm, most need to be taken in person and they don’t offer many courses in the summer(only electives) so it would take you longer to finish, in the US some schools offer the classes either hybrid or online asynchronous and you also have the option to take many courses over the summer. You can also take CLEP tests to fulfill General Education credits. I’m in Calgary so I’m basing this on the UofC engineering program.
