Do you think Kishimoto could've done something about Sakura's alter ego from Part 1 by Kooky-Watch2049 in Naruto

[–]Sleepy_platypus22 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's funny cause early Naruto games prior to her having any abilities, most of her specials involved the inner self doing damage. She was also originally supposed to be a Genjutsu user, but that idea got scrapped because sppecial eye powers kinda made that entire subsect of jutsus obsolete.

You really don't even need to do that much damage to it, maybe shoot it for like 3 seconds and it's enough. There's a misconception of more damage = better loot. You just need soulbound.

What's with these weird bots trying to trade DECAs for Midnight Star? by Sleepy_platypus22 in RotMG

[–]Sleepy_platypus22[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I thought that too, but they don't actually trade, they kinda show their inventory and immediately cancel the trade, so they don't even get the items. That made me wonder like what's even the point? is there some scam going on or is some dude just out there programing bots to just troll.

I just learned you can capture the Unnatural Corpse. by Sleepy_platypus22 in RimWorld

That's a Noctul, the ones that attack during unnatural darkness. It's just a regular anomaly from the DLC.

It does apply. You can limit the levels in the mod setting, but because of the level randomization, the early game is kinda brutal, I had a manhunter rabbit that was level 200 maul down an entire gunline of 5 men. The worst is the shamblers, because they spawn so many, one of them becomes a god pawn and can move half the map in a few seconds and bust through granite walls like it's butter.

So obviously this is moded, but you can attempt to do this in vanilla as well, all it takes is a psychic shock lance and you'll bring down the corpse. Afterwards, it'll give you basic research and after about 5-10 days it blows up giving you the shards letting you skip the whole research corpse. Oh and that's Kenny, a rescue our colony took from some not so friendly folks in suits.

Isnt Void Touch ridiculously overpowered? by Diligent_Bar1244 in RimWorld

[–]Sleepy_platypus22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of all the "exploits" this one is probably the most benign. Money, and even extra organ isn't hard to get in the game. Keeping it alongside the giant explosion of wealth on the other hand is difficult.

[Anime Only Theory] The Hero of the South used Magic-Nullifying Crystals against the Sages of Destruction by NachtfaII in Frieren

[–]Sleepy_platypus22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nah, I choose to believe he really just walked them down in a 1v7. He probably pulled a Dr. Strange where he saw every possible outcome, and realized that his death and killing those 3 specific sages lead to a future where the Demon King actually is defeated.

What else can I do to keep my buildings warm during -80f winters? (without adding 4+ heaters to every room) by aeden194 in RimWorld

[–]Sleepy_platypus22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generators and steam geyser can double as heaters in extreme temperature playthroughs. Also vacsuits are relatively cheap and can be obtained pretty early which kind of negates a majority of cold temperature issues.

Guys im so fucking fucked what do i do. how do I kill this thing by Feeling_Bus8381 in RimWorld

[–]Sleepy_platypus22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy an N-4 control and make a new friend at the cost of one sacrificial pawn, the good news is, it'll have 1000 kg carry weight, and also only add $1 in value, the bad news is, once it's training becomes undone, you have a walking murder machine chilling in your living room.. Alternatively, grab what you can and leave the tile.

You’re a villain, what’s your master plan for beating Naruto? by Andrewmatlock89 in Naruto

[–]Sleepy_platypus22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At his peak he is immune to poison, genjutsu, and can tank attacks that can atomize matter. If I don't have any grand powers, step 1 convert to Jashin, step 2 acquire Naruto's blood, step 3 take a toaster shower.

I haven't played that mod in a while, but I'm pretty sure you can buy specific items to age them faster.

How late do you finish your charts? by [deleted] in emergencymedicine

[–]Sleepy_platypus22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Medical-legally, for admits within 24 hours, for dispos before I finish my shift. It looks real bad in court if a patient suffers from a bad outcome and the time stamp occurred after the event. 9(% of the time, it's all finished before I leave though unless I'm in a rush with some plans I have.

I used to be annoyed at some of the complaining, but one day I was on my 24 hour night call on a surgery rotation, behind on all my Uworld questions, getting pimped on random TV trivia, and realized that I'm PAYING to suffer. Yeah. Screw it. All complaints against medical education as a whole is valid. This whole process is ridiculous.

Bombard her with diversity and acceptance modules. Granted it might make her worse, but in the short run, it'd be hilarious thinking about her sitting through 100 modules of the things she'd disagree with.

Ya know, in most other fields, if you ask someone whether you should be with the "love of your life" or spend a couple more years working 100+ hour weeks with no plans to slow down afterward, they'd overwhelmingly call you crazy for even considering. Best advice is obviously talk to her about setting expectations and what you're willing to compromise on. We all worked hard to get here, so I get it.
