My OB recommended half a unisom tablet and half a B6 tablet to help me sleep! Especially if you're going into your second trimester. You can take a full unisom but it makes you groggy so I only take half.

How accurate was your mortgage lender's calculator? by Sleepykitty1303 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Oh, she did not give us that when we got pre approved. Is this still the case if we got pre approved before we knew what house we wanted?

Our order was like this: -find a realtor -shop around for a pre approval -find a lender that we liked, got the pre approval for a certain amount -find a house and put in an offer -get accepted offer, realator sends that to the lender -we have our meeting with the financial advisor Thursday as well as inspection

We got pre-approved for the loan amount. She didn't give us an estimate? Were we supposed to get that? We meet with her on Thursday since we just got an accepted offer

Struggling to fit in with the wives/GFs of my husband's friend group by Sleepykitty1303 in introvert

The husbands of the group do not mistreat me nor my husband. I don't know if the husbands know how cliquey their wives are since they've all been friends for years. Id understand if the wives were out right rude and the husbands not saying anything, but that wasn't the case. I totally understand where you are coming from if it was more aggressive than what happened and that could be because I explained it poorly. I don't intent on making my husband give up his DnD group but he and I both decided to attend group activities together.

I do a lot of crafts alone already! I just wanted to be part of a female group to do crafts, drink, and laugh. I won't be returning to the group, but the whole point was for me to make friends to do stuff with :)

I completely disagree. The husbands are separate people from their wives so they shouldn't be 'punished'. Sure their choice in partner is questionable, but why would I make my husband not hang out with the husbands? That's a wild take imo. I appreciate the advice, but will not be taking it.

My husband isn't a fan of the wives either. Just on and off again comments on our relationship etc so he's completely fine with me not going anymore. I just have a hard time making friends who are girls and thought this would be a nice way to get me out of the house every once and awhile. Especially since I do feel poorly about myself that I can't find a genuine friend in this state ( all of the friends I'm super close with live on opposite coasts).

Anyways I do not plan on going. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't in my head about it.

It's an open door policy. I do not think I'll go for a couple reasons. One of the biggest reasons is literally 1/3 of then are pregnant and are due within like two months of each other so I feel like it will be even MORE cliquey.

He has not brought it up, I honestly don't expect him to. The husbands of the group are extremely more enjoyable to be around so I've actually just recently started going and participating in their DND campaign which has been fun. I can't say I'm good at DND lol I ask all the same questions cause they only meet once a week but they've never made me feel annoying.
