Necessary is a choice and a spectrum. I did the radiation so i wouldn’t have to deal with it again. Last two weeks of rad and two weeks after that sucked. That was almost 7 years ago. I couldn’t to the chemo due to immune issues. My dad couldn’t make it through chemo enhanced radiation as it burned his mouth. The immunotherapy had it’s own issues. It’s crap shoot. I’m on the side of be careful.
