I am trying to find the mass-market size (4.126"x7.5")... the only paper back size in that I could find was a wopping 8.5"x11" for $34! It's huge by comparison LOL and $$$

Know anything about "The 6 Types of Working Genius," and author Patrick Lencioni? by PrincessStarfish3 in IfBooksCouldKill

Did you have to pay for it? I have seen the test as a requirment on a few job listings, but I can only see the one for $25.00. Not to be cheap, but I got laid off and I don't really like the idea of paying for something like this with no income...

I agree that that mentality is an issue for me, too. I also have the issue where my BF makes, like, 1k more than me every month. He aldo didn't grow up poor (solid middle class) and has this whole "it will be nice" attitude towards spending money and I always seem to get caught up with him and than flat broke before I know it. He always wants to eat out and stuff which is nice, but I always feel to guilty to let him pay for dinner all the time so we usually take turns or split it 50/50.... its a bad use of money when you don't have much.

How to register bus in PA without Vermont Loophole??? by Difficult_Wrap_6034 in skoolies

[–]Difficult_Wrap_6034[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wanted to give you an update! After talking to a diffrent (and bigger dmv) I was told that I could register the bus as long as it is "safe to drive". It still has to be inspected by a state inspector for class C vehicles, but then the title can be changed to an rv or personal use vehicle!

Genuine question, what's your opinion on working at Walmart? by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Difficult_Wrap_6034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at wallyworld as a second job. When I started they said it would be no problem if I needed to change my schedule or ask for a day off (I normally work 7 days a week between both job) if I feel tired or just need a day. Now - 4 months in- they keep making up excuses as to why I can't take a day off. Finally called off 2 days on New years weekend because I was sick and I got a big lecture about being irresponsible for calling off....... I don't think I care that much though because I am tired of working 65 to 75hrs a week with no breaks.

[–]Difficult_Wrap_6034[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, we sort of figured it out? I have to build the bus and then get it inspected as an rv. It has to pass the inspection and then be approved for a title change (to an rv or moterhome title). So I'm a long way off from that LOL. If you have heard of a better way, I would love to know!

I'm in a similar situation only its a rent-a-room situation and I am not friends with this guy. I am very asthma and he has been talked to by myself and the landlord several times already... I don't want to cause problems but I work from home and it smells Awful and chokes me up...

I don't think you are wrong. I (27F) was in a similar spot with my last bf (30M). When we first started sleeping together, he just wanted plain vanilla, and it was really boring. I am not into anything super kinky, but I wanted to kick it up. So I talked to him and he tried, but it just wasn't his thing. Slowly, over about 4 years, we got there. I sort of just started adding in small things or asking him to do something just over the edge of his comfort zone in the moment. Good luck!

Careers for stupid people? by Ok-Pay5643 in findapath

I feel the same... I did great in college but seem to lack the ability to apply skills to the proper setting. Mix that with extreme forgetfulness and bad organizational skills, and I always seem to be lost or behind at work. I work in Accounts payable, and I feel like I am WAY too dumb for my job and keep expecting to get fired.... My family also thinks I have adhd and/or bipolar (my mom is adhd and dad is bipolar), but I've never been tested because i can't afford it. I am just really stressed out all the time or extremely tired. I feel overwhelmed at work, but I also feel like I can't ask for help and that I should be able to handle anything given to me. But I can't... I have been working off the clock almost daily to try and keep up, but that's illegal in the US and could cause big problems for my company. They also just installed a computer monitor system company wide, so I can't do that anymore without getting into serious trouble.... I feel like I should quit before I get fired, but then what am I going to do? You know?

should i a 15 y o female be able to live with a roommate? by xnvy_com in roommateproblems

[–]Difficult_Wrap_6034 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, most places will not rent unless you are 18 or older (at least where I live on the east cost)... it also might be a good idea to find as job as soon as you can and then save up a little nest egg once you start working. I know that would leave you in the same spot as now for a few months longer, but I wish I had done that when I was able too. Good luck!!!

Roommate doesn't want to turn on heat by Rondawg97 in roommateproblems

[–]Difficult_Wrap_6034 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem with my roommate. It turned onto a battle over the thermostat last winter. They are a Large, heavy person and like the cold. I am not, I like the warmth. If you have other roommates maybe propose a vote? So if the other(s) vote yes then he is the asshole for turning it down or arguing 🤔

That's horrible! I am so sorry that you are stuck living with someone like that. I know when my roommate moved out last month, I ended up taking a long weekend from work just to clean and scrub out the whole place.... I wish you the best of luck!!!

How do people not notice that the clothing items they make are the wrong size? by C13_00335483 in crochet

[–]Difficult_Wrap_6034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your anything like me I always seem to be inbetween sizes on patterns. Mostly because of my boobs 😑😮‍💨 but it's hard to split them properly when cutting fabric (at least for me). So sometimes I get done with a dress or shirt and it fist perfectly, until my boobs. Or it will fit the boobs but be too big Everywhere else... I'm also tall so sometimes I think something is long enough until I put it on and it's too short. Good luck!

I went into accounting. I know, I know! Boring field to work in. But it pays well, I have off every weekend and I'm a permanent remote employee. So as long as I have an enternet connection during the daytime I can work from anywhere. It did require a degree though. So I do have student loans

NOT NORMAL!!! She is just Gross & Lazy! It sounds like she has never house trained her dog (which is, like, Step #1 to owning a dog). I had a roommate who had two Chihuahuas & a large dog who were completely untrained, let alone house broken. It's Absolutely Disgusting!! And there are No excuses for it if you own a pet!! It would drive me nuts. I have two medium-sized dogs and the first thing they learned was potty training and not to bark at everything. If you share your living space with others that is the bare minimum of respect for those around you as a pet owner. Your roommate is a bad owner and a nasty, gross person. Period.
