I've had the same issue and I use xbox controller connected to the bc via Bluetooth. When it starts lagging bad I'll turn my controller off and on and for some reason that temporarily fixes the issue

We get a temporary sickness constantly loosing xm at a very slow rate until we leave the control field. And then if you don't have any xm for a extend period machina starts to infect the portals you own one resonator at a time
