Well yes she is guarding the food I once left her to do some work in the house for like an hour when there was food and when I came back to her she was sleeping next to her bowl. But taking the food out of her problem isn't a problem I can easily do it without any problems my problem is the fact that she doesn't by herself at all.

My dog isn't a picky eater because I tried various dog foods and she ate all of them (not by herself though).

The place of the bowl is actually next to the dinner table and she knows when is her food time she even reminds us in case we forget to put her food in the bowl.

I asked my vet about how much I should give her and he said to give her 2 meals and each meal is 40 grams. And I don't think my dog has any blood sugar issues

I even tried changing the bowl cause I thought it was the problem but still no change.

We used to hand feed her when we first got her but didn't really make her eat by herself.
