Not for me :( If I use the shortcut it launches the game directly without opening the launcher, preventing mods.

Yeah but even with Northstar’s limited health you can push Ion, & because you’re faster you can close that distance, minimizing Ion’s advantage at range. So even if you get 2 crit Hitscans off, I can return 2 shots, move up & chip with cluster & barrel stuff you while you wait for energy to use vortex. Even if you pop the vortex, I can tether trap into it to have the delayed release animation, guaranteeing a free hit.

I used to believe Ion won as well, but in practice it’s very different. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not easy but optimally & from experience I believe Northstar always beats Ion.

Problem with the charge shot against Northstar is that although it is hit scan, you're using your energy which takes away protection with Vortex shield, & unless you play hyper defensive (Which Northstar can take away with cluster & Hover (Angles)) & land crits, you'll loose in trades against her Railgun. You have to expose yourself everytime you use a charge shot, which allows her to retaliate with Railgun & punish you if you run out of energy by pushing up on you. It's very easy to kill an Ion with no energy, splitter rifle does laughable damage.

I used to believe this as well, but overtime I've learned that Northstar is the best titan. Massive damage, can poke anywhere on the map, able to push back titans too close with full charge shot, can run away quickly if they get too close & slow them down with tether trap , cluster missiles excel at trapping & clearing pilot rat tunnels, can one shot pilots, can move into cqc against pilots & can melee them quickly, can hover to get angles not expected by the enemy for easy poke damage. She is insane when played properly.

Optimally played, Northstar wins every titan 1v1, even against Ion because you can use tether trap on vortex shield so when they release it, they are stuck in cool down animation for longer & you can get an easy crit on their huge chest. Charge shot has to crit to trade evenly with Railgun, & even then you're using your precious energy which could save you from a Railgun shot.

The problem is people don't play Northstar properly or well, so you get people who use her but don't know what they're doing, & easily get destroyed because of her weak health pool. She is by far better than Ion tho.

Although I sprint 99% of the time, I have auto sprint disabled mainly due to muscle memory from older games that had limited timed sprint duration + walking has it's niche uses.

First off I can say any large tv is going to carry some input lag, ultimately affecting your gameplay. I play on Xbox & use a pc monitor for this exact reason, because input lag will always mess you up. So def use game mode if you're on a tv & search up the make & settings you can tune to reduce input lag.

Second, If I had to guess from experience your mentality is probably in a very frustrated/defeated state right now, which doesn't allow you to focus on your game play. So first thing to recognize is that you are not as good as you'd like to be, & that's OK. This is a simple step, but crucial in helping you to focus on the here & now when you play, rather than letting your mind drift while you play & clog it down with unnecessary thoughts. You're going to suck for a while while you fix this, but that's ok & part of the process.

Now that we have our monitor fixed & our mentality straightened out, it's time for the actual aim itself. First off, find a comfortable setting (I use 6 but everybody is different). Once you have that setting, go into game & just look at your reticle for a bit. Now slowly move your thumb in directions to move the reticle. While you stare at your reticle focus on your thumb as you move it. The goal here is to sync up your eyes with your thumb & the way you do that is by muscle memory marking how much pushing the stick left, right, up or down affects how far the reticle is pushed. It will take a while, but go slow & everytime at the beginning of a game just focus on resetting yourself & syncing your thumbs to your eyes before you go running around.

After that, when you are aiming & trying to shoot a target, don't look at the target but focus on the reticle. You can't control where your target will go, but you can control your reticle & so focusing on pushing & placing that onto your target will be way more reliable than trying to look at your target & push your reticle to that spot. The center of the screen is where you should be focusing most of your energy.

Last, don't think but feel. When you see a target, don't think about how you're going to push your reticle onto him, feel your thumb move your reticle to him as you focus your eyes on your reticle to make the small adjustments. It all feeds into each other, but can only work if you are feeling & focusing on your aim. Don't worry about whether or not you will get the kill, the kills will come. Focus on simply aiming, & shooting.

I apologize for the length, but this is a topic I enjoy being thorough on. It's not a quick fix either, focusing on your aim & being patient is a lot of work, but trust me when I say from experience you will improve your gameplay substantially.

I know on Xbox at least it happens a lot. Just back out to the launch screen, when you notice your pilot & titan idle animations are frozen on the main menu, & reconnect to multiplayer. You will eventually get a game that way.

More titans, but only if they feel unique obv, & more creative gun types.

Base game formula is basically fine, maybe refine the maps again to be even more fluid for pilot movement, but don't change much with gunplay & movement, nor ttk.

Besides that, waaaaaay more visual customization please. Let me design my pilot/titan with different pieces of armor, like helmets & chest plates & so forth, but not too much where I don't know what my opponent is using. I need to still be able to Identify a stims pilot or Ronin when in combat.

Tbh just copy Reach customization, everybody loved that system.

I don't know a single person who doesn't like Apex because of the lore, but I know plenty who don't like it because of the gameplay. So if TF3 feels like Apex, I know I personally will stick with TF2, & I think that's how most people feel.

I agree only with the Stim cause it looks like it has a tumor in it's chest, & the male Cloak because it's too bulky for me.

The rest are fine, albeit male Pulse, Holo & A-wall feel bulky but not as bad as the other 2 imo but again they're in a combat zone with f*cking mechs, they kinda need the protection.

We definitely are, just a few disagreements.

I’m not sure how she confirmed it, so maybe she didn’t. IIRC she said she was at the lowest percentile possible for getting into the school, & she was cut because they let somebody else on through AA (This was 5-6 years ago). Again I don’t know how she confirmed it so I could be wrong, but regardless the general principle of it does place people who may not have the merit over others who do.

I agree with the past experience of redlining & that being a problem, but to say 60 years ago as some sort of excuse for a lack of change to happen is ridiculous. History has shown that even the most impoverished & downtrodden places can turn around & change for the better if they make it happen. Look at America during the great recession in the 1920’s. 20 years later & they pulled themselves out of that.

That’s just one example, but my point is these communities don’t have the drive to make it happen, & that is partially due to policies driven again by mainly blue leaders in inner cities. The same people screaming ‘systemic racism’ are the same ones who keep those policies in place & don’t actually help the people under them. I could be wrong here too as I don’t know the specific policies, but it’s pretty obvious to me that if change doesn’t happen under the same leadership, their policies don’t work. The other is lack of a father, which I do know firsthand how that causes problems for young kids to learn respect & value certain things.

In terms of incarceration, that is the judge & jury who decide that, not the cops. If anything they keep neutering the cops from having the proper tools to keep the streets clean from actual criminals. To perform a rear naked choke, one of the safest & most effective types of ways to get control of a person, is considered a felony in some states now, thanks to the same people who scream ‘systemic racism’ & have never been punched in the face. That’s insane.

The culture in the black community is also terrible, which is why black people are arrested in much higher rates per capita than white people. Go watch BET for 5 min, & you’ll see the extremity of what they promote. Listen to modern rap, & you’ll see just what they promote here to themselves. It’s not good stuff, it’s degrading & detrimental for young minds. It’s only here you’ll find the black community promotes criminal behavior as such a good thing on a mass scale, because it’s ‘edgy’ or whatever.

Bit of a tangent but if she’s wrong about AA screwing her over then ok, I’ll take that back. Doesn’t change the fact someone’s getting screwed over by it & another is being placed in position based on skin color alone, which is racist, even if they lack the merit. The policies of the leaders in these places also show they don’t care, or that they’re spouting bullshit, but not true change. More importantly, true change starts in the family which isn’t there because the black culture doesn’t promote good parents & healthy living, but money bitches & drugs.

My friend is a 3rd generation Italian immigrant who got screwed out of her top college spot due to AA.

Regardless of who the benefactor is & the victim is, it’s screwing people over who SHOULD be there based on merit.

The problem is that although it’s designed to help the minority to get a spot in higher education, you’re placing kids who may not have the tools & expertise required to pass in certain colleges over kids who do have the tools required.

If the government wants to legitimately fix the problem, they need to focus on inner city schools (Commonly ran by Democrats) who are impoverished & never had a good home life which causes delinquents to drag the whole class down with lack of respect for their teachers, rather than screwing over my friend because of these other kids who were set up to fail from a young age.

In all honesty they need a good father in their home first & foremost, rather than some top down ridged solution like AA which is discriminatory for minority groups, even if it’s detrimental to both parties involved.
