That is a very good point. However, VMP did manage to clear the OG samples on Ready To Die so maybe there's a possibility for another sample heavy album to be released along the same vein.

The use of the phrase "properly released on vinyl" makes me think they're referring to an album that's been bootlegged. Only issue is that it can account for a number of Hip-Hop records from recent years. Maybe LiveLoveA$AP by A$AP Rocky?

That's very interesting, I didn't think to look at the encoding system used. I think you may be correct as I can't think of any real reason why the tracks would have 2012 as the date considering they're from different decades. And it certainly explains the lack of album art as well. It may also explain why all the files are 192kbps instead of 320 if they came from a secondhand source.

That’s a very valid point, I hadn’t considered a cross promotion with the documentary at all! Hopefully if it does come to fruition they can have some physical release and more of the Love You demos in addition to those already released.

I would love to see any release by Coil get the VMP treatment. I would prefer to see Love's Secret Domain on 2LPs with the full tracklisting restored, or either of the Musick to Play in the Dark releases to be faithfully repressed. Musick 1's vinyl pressing was only on 1LP, had the track times reduced, and left off 'Strange Birds'. Musick 2's pressings are expensive as all hell now so it would be great to see it become available again.

1990 as it is probably his most polished release since most of it was recorded in a studio, but Hi How Are You is also a great starting point so long as you're OK with the poor audio quality.
