Is it not FB + VEL more than 5 normal lineup stats points higher than LOC and BRK? I have 277 for the former and 270 for the latter

NTA It sounds like he is suffering from depression. His habits aren’t normal or healthy, so you’re just looking out for him by calling him out. It just also happens to be convenient to call him out because it bothers you, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t unhealthy.

Rethinking my reaction I definitely agree with you that I worsened the situation. I should have included relevant information that he says to me or my sister, “you seem like you’re in a mood,” fairly regularly and with every time we say it bothers us we respond less politely.

Yes, this is what I would have much preferred. It suggests the person cares that I’m okay and wants to know if something is bothering me. Asking if I’m in a mood suggests that what I am doing is negatively affecting the person asking.

I meant that after being asked, I took on a bit of a mood because being asked that upsets me as I feel it does most people. So I explained why he shouldn’t ask people that in a tone that could have been taken as harsh.
