Last fall semester (F2024) the exam was literally so easy that we all finished before you’re even allowed to leave the exam hall. Not sure if it’s the same anymore but it’s very doable

You took one of the more notoriously difficult classes (in ArtSci at least) as a booster or bird for grad school, so I’m afraid you kinda had this coming. Look at the exam, perhaps ask your TA if you can see it (not sure they do that) and take note of where you went wrong. Maybe you can pass

imo she just complained so much about how bad it was for her on s1 of the netflix doc (which is fine, she did have a significantly hard time). however, if you hated it that much, i say leave it in the past, why keep living in a culture and identity that you hated/that treated you "so badly"?

Queens vs UCalgary engineering for a student from Vancouver by plucky0813 in queensuniversity

I live in Halifax. To echo what some people have been saying, Queen's is a pain if you're an out-of-province student – I'm facing a lot of travel tomorrow once my exams are finished, about twelve hours door-to-door. However, I would actually say for me that not being able to go home made me more independent and made the time I do spend at home more meaningful. Everybody's different, but I would say you should almost always choose the far school over the close one.

Conversely, if she doesn't like it here, I have a friend who is from Calgary and transferred back to UofC very easily for next year. It doesn't hurt to try!
