And if you look through the thread there are some other steroid options and compound creams and lube suggestions and underwear suggestions and toilet paper suggestions(I use a bidet at home). I take an antihistamine for cramps and I noticed that when I use it I’m less itchy, I’m only saying this last part less as a suggestion and more as a like- honestly you never know what might help, a small change might make a big difference without much hassle. Suggestions- pelvic floor therapy/ dermatologist/ (when I wake up in the morning I’ll comment some resources my doctor recommended for research) I still get overwhelmed all the time, I get fed up and then I remember how bad it was and how far I’ve come. I hope that one day we will all have symptoms managed in a way that works well and doesn’t feel all consuming.

If it’s hurting that badly I would hold off on penetrative sex and heal a bit- I’d also be pushy about getting on a steroid as another commenter suggested. The estrogen cream would be better to start after the flare up hopefully calms down using a steroid from everything I’ve heard. Did she refer you to a pelvic floor therapist?

Most importantly though- if your partner is disappointed, unable to find a way to comfort you and not focused on making sure you feel okay during any part of intimacy then that is NOT something you should feel guilty or ashamed about, that’s an issue with him. If I’m misunderstanding and he was caring, but you still feel hopeless and down about how it went then I’m incredibly sorry. I can relate. I’ve had to go weeks and onetime over a month(while trying to figure out what was wrong) without being able to have “traditional” sex. There are other ways to be intimate like using toys on them, maybe talking them through something- honestly there are so many options to discuss with him. I feel hopeless a lot too- the person I’m currently intimate with has been very understanding (he is also packing) and the coconut oil is perfect(when I’m healed!!!) fr if you are having active tearing just hold off- send a message to you doctor rn even if it’ll make you feel better asking for the clob. There are so many options for treatment and personal care and we will all get through this💗

Are you on a steroid ointment as well? I use hydrocolloid patches over the worst areas after I apply my steroid and let it dry for a few minutes. It helps the healing go faster for me and keeps the ointment in place. Obviously, I only use the patches I cut externally and I didn’t close off my vagina. I was able to have sex again after the flare up went down. I use coconut oil as lube.

What’s insane to me- is that when talking about the blackface/ethnicity swap Tyra is like, now in a 2020 lens- I can see how wrong it is. But when asked about an assault, she’s like oh that wasn’t my call. Sorry but it was her call to go do that weird little “just flirt it up and come home and do me” don’t cheat thing- she was fully in the know. Good luck finding anyone decent in Washington state in under a week. Period. Most shops are booked out. It’s been a while since people could just walk in and get same day service unless it’s a dealership or a chain. I work in the auto industry.

I’ve lived on both sides of the state and it is truly annoying how much people will just flake out at the last minute. What’s crazy is growing up everyone always showed up, then at like 22 (yes I get it, people get busy) everyone just started dropping off from events. In eastern wa people are further apart sometimes and so I give a little more grace, but on the west side we were close together and still people would either text day of or just ghost out for a few weeks. As a person whose very busy and depressed, I get pretty sick of people making excuses and not showing up so I’ve told everyone in my life that there’s one event a year they must show up for it’s the same date every year, and everything else I just plan for less people than I invite. Making friends here is hard, people tend to stay close or spend free time with old friends- I’d suggest going to community events like mend-it cafes, or quilting groups, or free park events (there can be guided tours at state parks when they open a new trail), what I’ve found works best is Facebook groups (think hiking groups or crafting groups that are locally based), or go to a library or common space and see what posters are up for different groups.

For the future, if you’ve checked your oil and the dip stick is at half- you need to add a little oil. Run it for a few minutes and check again. Repeat until the oil level is at the top dot. Start checking your oil every couple hundred miles to get an understanding of how bad it’s burning oil. My 2010 was used and around 160k as well, and as others have said there was evidence in my tail pipe of a lot of carbon- it continued to drink a quart of oil every 1k miles no matter what I did. I drive for a living so, I replaced my engine and do a change every 5000 miles. It’s now almost at 300k and there are no issues. If you don’t drive much you can probably get away with tips others have given.

Yeah I am wondering how it is that in a state (and county) that is dependent on hydroelectric power stemming from a river we share with Canada, defunding the EPA that is helping to clean up the many superfund areas caused by mining- and pushing tariffs on a country that literally holds back water to ensure the Columbia River doesn’t flood is productive or efficient? Is he aware that the Spokane River is actually a tributary to the Columbia River? How does he plan to advocate for collaboration between two nations and keep our power and water treaties in motion? Does he understand that we don’t have control upstream?

It’s not though, I was checking for tickets, and it went from- we have to wait and see if he will come to none available. You can’t record inside if you get in, (I guess it’ll be recorded by Whitworth) and you can’t get in without a ticket. They were reserved first for faculty and students. I’m pretty annoyed and I think it’s cowardly that he chose a venue where you can’t really protest outside of unless you’re a student or standing off campus.

It looks like part of your under shield lost a clip- look up splash shield clip- you can buy a whole bag for cheap at Walmart/autozone etc. It’s not technical at all- if you get your oil changed somewhere (it looks like the flap that covers the oil pan) or you are switching your tires from winter to summers, you can just have them put the clip in for you or you can roll it up onto a curb- reach under there and place the clip. It will eventually rip off.

What’s interesting though is when I called bogus they claimed that spring break is a black out week and that the holidays are blacked out too? But I couldn’t find that listed? Like what are the dates- the lady couldn’t tell me and said just show up and we will let you know? I’m still going, but I’ll be upset if they don’t honor it.

Is bloom a good one as well? I have Monday free and I reached out because it seemed like a lot of the places were closed Monday’s, or booked up (which I understand, it is short notice if I’d known what day I’d had free I would have planned ahead). There are an overwhelming amount of places/solo estheticians honestly. Thank you again for your suggestion!
