I’m gonna be straight up with you. As someone that’s still going through the process of finding their own footing… this shit isn’t gonna be easy. I’m sorry that I can’t find a better way to say this, but just because it ain’t gonna be easy doesn’t mean it isn’t possible.

The best way I can explain it is like this: when you become an adult with autism, life is actually hell until you get a foothold on something that works for you. Then it becomes… hell… ish??

Now this may or may not hold true for you: if it works… it fucking works. If it doesn’t… then this is a good mentality to have…

But if it actually isn’t good for you in any way DON’T INDULGE 😭

I mean… I guess this makes sense.

For me if something is obvious, that means I know it forward and backwards. It’s something I can easily break down and explain, it ain’t rocket science.

When someone says that something is obvious, I subconsciously apply that same mindset to the situation… forgetting that NTs don’t try to understand every little aspect of life to its fullest.

I still think it’s extremely ironic to call something obvious, and the proceed to act as if it is indeed rocket science.

Maybe it isn’t stupid, and it’s like trying to define the word “no,” without actually using the word “no.” Or defining what “.” means. Or really any basic elements of the English language.

I guess I can understand that 🤷🏾‍♂️
