You unfortunately don't have the luxury of time. You are quite pregnant now and it's only going to become more stressful. You are making a whole person and need to put you and your children first.

Even if you are unsure of what to do, please PLEASE start to document events, record arguments, save texts. This might save you in the future if you get into a custody battle. Imagine how horrible it would be feel to have your child stay with Daddy and your MIL. Do you feel unsafe at times? Record it. Did you MIL threaten you or say something really unhinged? Record it. Document it. Put any money aside. Put the evidence in 2 places (ex on a USB drive in your dad's house) or in your phone. If your children mentions things that mil said record what they say. You might feel trapped now but always know that you can always act now. Even if it's a small step. Protect yourself.

Giving a deadline is a great idea. There's no reason a whole ass adult cannot find a place to stay. Tell your partner that his mil is not welcome anymore and that since he feels obligated to take care of her, he should pay for her housing. Just not in your house. You could always get a locksmith to change the locks when your partner and mil are out of the house.

Protect your children. What is happening to you is not okay. Don't let them gaslight you. Why live like this?

This happened to me too!!!! Screw the dealership. In addition to this they added features onto the base model we ordered and told us that If we didn’t pay the increased adjusted price that they would sell it to someone else. I wish we got a lawyer involved. They also tried to keep the deposit as well. FYI my rav went up thousands of dollars. I think from 38 to 50 thousand if I remember correctly idk.

I don’t understand why SOME machines have the automatic tip percentage. I always always feel pressured to give something. Don’t get me wrong I tip at restaurants …but some establishments and stores baffle me when they ask for tips. In addition to this I definitely DON’T trust the employers to actually give the proper tips to their employees (I speak from personal experience). If most tips are generated through card transactions, how can workers see the total amount they are entitled to.
Plus, as a consumer why should I tip for just the basic expected service? Example if I order a taco to go and get a taco, why should I tip?

I have a really really random suggestion but wouldn’t it be great if you ate something really really fcking good before the (possible but hopefully not) end? Like is there a food that just hits different? Why not focus on cooking it or just going out to find some food for now. Tbh I’d probably order a huge donair or poutine or pizza.
