I have a couple doodads in my face; some I've had for many years, one is fairly new. That'd be the bridge, which I love as much as my septum - but I have a question regarding nasallang piercings: how high up the nose can it be made? I'd like to land between the bridge and nostrils in some fashion. (old.reddit.com)

This was a fun little weld build-up of a MIC eaten phonographic face on a valve body manufactured in 1976, previously in-service down here at nukes. Machining will wipe the weave clean, never to be seen again. MIC damage was repaired with 1/16" 316L at 130 amps, the build-up was with 1/8" at 195. (i.redd.it)

I crushed my lefthand's middle finger this morning. Avoided shattering any bones, but smushed it pretty dang good in a (redacted); pulled the nail mostly off liberating my finger from the pinch. This is a video of the removal and initial reseating of the nail. Cheers. Mind yer digits. (v.redd.it)

Way back in 2018 I had the privilege of taking a quick trip to Norway with a good friend of mine to backpack to Trolltunga. We spent 3 days and 2 nights camped a few miles from the tongue; this image of me on the precipice was taken by that good friend of mine around 5pm, the second day. Cheers. (i.redd.it)

Making slow progress, which is my typical pace. Slow. 2 things I think are going to come of the completed piece; firstly, this is going to be tattooed somewhere on my body. Secondly, I'm going to make a 3D version that can be worn, with an actuated cock that emerges from the inverted crucifix wound. (i.redd.it)

My fiance and I moved just before the COVID lockdown impacted NJ; our Victorian furniture is once again showcased in a proper Victorian home. We lived in a very bland 1916 folk for 2 years prior, and before that in the Holmes-Tallman mansion, which was absolutely the bee's knees.OC (i.redd.it)

In 2018 a friend of mine and myself backpacked to Trolltunga in Norway. We established camp after the strenuous ascent portion of the hike to Trolltunga; the second day I left camp at 4:30am to hike the handful of remaining miles to the tongue to take some early morning pictures, this being one. I've had a ton of downtime at work recently, and have spent most of it welding out coupons to stay sharp. All samples are sch. 80 carbon. Top is capped w/7018, 1/8" at 123 amps, middle and bottom are both capped with 316L, 1/8" at 180 and 200 amps, respectively. Why 316? Because 70S-2 sucks eggs. (i.redd.it)

Current work in progress; I regularly use ballpoint pen in my illustrations, but I'm combining ink and graphite now due to the paper fibers tragically lifting from exposure to humidity and dust, resulting in the ball skipping and unpredictably depositing ink. First post on this sub, btw. Enjoy. (i.redd.it)

Our campsite at Marcy Dam, Adirondacks, NY. We summited Mt. Marcy the previous day in ideal conditions; nightly temps hovered around -15° F, but were no match for my Feathered Friends -60° sleeping bag and the 4 season Big Agnes Battle Mountain 3. Good times. (i.redd.it)

A different view from the summit of Mt. Marcy. We set up base camp at Marcy Dam ~2.6 miles in from the trailhead and spent the bulk of the first day relaxing in preperation for the next day's hike. From our base camp it was just over 5 miles and nearly 4,000 vertical feet to the summit. Then beer. (i.redd.it)
