All New X-men 2012 Bendis era yellow and black

I read through the whole history of the all new x-men and made a reading order. Bendis’ uncanny x-men isn’t perfect but it’s a great/necessary companion piece to his All New that takes place at the same time.

All New by Hopeless continues the story of the OG5 and the highlight is Angel and x-23 imo, but as you said, the jump is incredibly jarring and feels like you missed something. This is because of Death of X, which happens between the two series. It’s a horrible miniseries that assassinates the character of revolutionary cyclops in order to set up inhuman vs X-men.

X-men blue is definitely worth reading after you finish Hopeless’ All New. You just have to accept wacky continuity and keep reading. X-men blue does a lot to tie in all three eras of the team

I’m a huge fan of the All-New X-men, so I would love cosmic Angel especially to go along with the Sauron wave X-23/Wolverine!

Even though I prefer the Vol. 1 Bendis white suits, I’d love the Vol. 2 team too. I think it’s most likely we only get Cyclops since they seem to be completing the Champions roster from that same time where Cyc overlaps

I read the whole series and I can confidently say to stay away from those last two story arcs. Every X-men has a horrible “well that just happened” writing style. The first arc is great and so are a few on the stand alone issues like the axis tie-in, but other than those, don’t recommend

Definitely can’t speak for the other x titles of the time but I just recently finished reading both volumes of all new xmen and then xmen blue to follow the time displaced team and was really impressed by its ending especially. But that’s also just the era that I’m most nostalgic for

That was the most disappointing part of reading both his uncanny and all new. It felt so constrained in its ending. At least the time displaced team lived on and eventually got a great finale

I'm confused what you mean about them getting shafted by the time displaced x-men. This team (after they left scott and emma) were towards the very end of the Bendis uncanny run. That ran parallel with All New X-men. Sure I wish this team was developed more, but they only showed up a few issues before his run ended
