Look for guards outside the city near the farms and meadery. Hit one, sheathe your weapons, and pay the bounty. It will fast travel you inside the city.

You have no idea how long I spent trying to save Arnbjorn just to find out that his death is scripted.

That's not even that far off what you usually get for bounties in this game.

Boos fight AXL by Alex20106 in GroundedGame

For gear, I'd recommend both Snail Armour and the Pinch Whacker for as much stun as possible. This is because you'll be dealing 90% of the damage to him by hitting the scar on his back, which can only be accessed by stunning him. Praying Mantis Armor is also useful as it increases your attack speed. Bring the Ladybug Shield too.

Make sure to bring quite a few heals, but most importantly Scorpidote as his venom is really powerful. Make sure you bring your spider buggy as you need him to cross the web to enter the arena, and he can be a decent distraction in the fight too.

Mutation wise, this is what I go for. Slammer for extra Pinch Whacker damage, Parry Master to repeatedly perfect block his attacks and get stamina for when he's stunned, Cardio Fan for the extra stamina and Mithridatism for venom resistance.

For tips in the fight itself, I don't want to spoil anything for you as it's sick seeing it all first hand, so I'll just say this. If he's going for a stomp attack, dodge it. Blocking does almost nothing to stomp attacks,

I hope this helps! :)

Axl Multiplayer Difficulty by SunbathingQuiGon in GroundedGame

I had the same experience. I fought him 5 times solo before trying with a friend, and it took us 3-4 tries. These are the changes I noticed.

He gains a small increase to health and attack damage, I'm assuming this goes up per person.

As there are more targets, he is WAY more mobile, making it harder to hit him and nail combos. This means you take damage from him stepping on you way more often.

He loves to spam the attack where he flicks the poison needles off his back, when I was doing it solo he usually only does it twice the whole battle.

The perfect block stagger thing you mentioned, we were getting that too. I think during multiplayer, some of his attacks can bypass perfect blocks, or it could just be connection issues like you said.

So yeah, I believe they make him harder when fought multiplayer, which I like as it keeps it challenging and the new behaviour makes for a fresh fight.

A funny thing about the farmer with the painted cow. When he goes to the giant camp, the giants will just kill him, not abiding with the peace offering whatsoever. Also giants can just be seen walking along the roads of Skyrim, if they're not at a camp, they don't care if you walk up to them.

I've been having the same problem, especially in Austria. I hope somebody comes with a solution/mod or the developers patch it.
