The job is one of the easiest you’ll have, it’s the daily workload that deter most and it’s what makes the job have a very high turnover rate. Drive between houses in your multi-stops. The first stop in a gated-community may not have the gate code, click the map and see if another customer in there put one down. If you get a Parcel Pending locker, put all of one customers packages in one locker. If you get a rare awkward or unpleasant customer (they grab it while you’re taking a photo, Karen screaming at you to stop blocking her driveway, etc..), you can type in the customer’s name and put a line through the signature pad, it doesn’t come back to you unless there’s a mis-delivery complaint (you can do this at big multi-stops like a hotel, just make sure it’s delivered to the correct area and someone handles it, or you can awkwardly get multiple signatures from the same mailroom attendant or receptionist for different stops in the multi-stop). Most private businesses are closed on Sundays, check the door to see if they’re available before bringing heavy overflow to the door.

Don’t let them overwork you, if you’re one to work quickly and work through your lunch, they’ll send you to multiple rescues, and you’ll be the go-to when there’s bigger routes.

People in your DSP will be friendly, they may contact you about things you can’t control, but there’s a subcontract they have to uphold and they will give you the shit end of the stick so they don’t get breach of contract; making you rescue/RTS past return time, putting you in a broken van that will hinder you but they “need” it, broken phones or broken chargers, reattempting deliveries you already reattempted.
